Robert Courvoisier Bronze Case Officer Repeater Clock Isabel Rockefeller Lincoln
This antique desk clock by Robert & Courvoisier is a stunning piece of history. Crafted from bronze, it features a mechanical movement and a 30 minute repeater function (see video). The clock and features all work! The clock was manufactured in the late 1700s to early 1800s and is a true testament to the craftsmanship of that time period. With its intricate details and classic design, this clock is sure to be a conversation starter. This clock has unique provenance attached to it. It belonged to Isabel Rockefeller Lincoln. The father of the individual I purchased the clock from worked for Isabel Rockefeller Lincoln from 1966-1980. When she passed away, the Lincoln daughters left the clock to this man and I purchased it from his son. His last name was Dutch starting with Van which is what you see on the presentation. Clock measures 7” x 5” x 4”. Dial measures 4.5” in diameter. There's a scratch on the glass crystal. The porcelain dial is in great condition for its age. There are some small dirt spots that could be professionally cleaned. The clock is ideal for collectors or for those who appreciate the beauty of antique pieces. It would make a perfect addition to any mantle or shelf. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique piece to add to your collection, this Robert Courvoisier Bronze Case Officer Repeater Clock Isabel Rockefeller Lincoln is a must-have. How to start an automatic watch? It’s very important to wind an automatic watch properly, prior to its use. The initial wind provided may only last a short while, making the watch appear defective once it stops ticking. To ensure your watch functions to the fullest of its capabilities, wait for it to stop and then wind the watch counter clockwise 15-20 times. Next, push the crown back, screwing it down to preserve the water resistance *Be mindful that excessively winding the watch may cause damages to the movement, so don’t overdo it. Unlike self-winding watches, the crown doesn't need to be wound on quartz models. If it still isn’t ticking, simply bring it by for a battery replacement. Why the watch is running slow?A watch can lose time for various reasons including, but not limited to a dying battery, which will cause the second-hand to begin jumping across several seconds at once instead of passing each individually, magnetization, causing tension between small parts within the movement and natural friction from the watch being worn. If the watch is a mechanical model (Automatic or Manual-wind) this can also be a sign that the watch needs to be overhauled. How to use a chronograph Operating a Chronograph requires using the pushers on the side of the case. The top pusher is used to start and stop the chronograph hand while the one at the bottom is used to reset it. Once the top pusher is pressed, the hand will run continuously, which you can track using the accompanying sub-dial. In order to reset the chronograph, it has to be stopped first. Otherwise the button will do nothing when pressed. How to set the date & time?Whether you have a screw or push-down crown, setting the date and time is simple. If its a screw-down, unscrew it by turning it downward, prior to following these steps. Pull out the crown to the first integer to operate the date alone, allowing the time to continue ticking. Pulling the crown out farther, you’re then allowed to adjust the time, which also shifts the date after each 24-hour cycle. Once you have your watch set, simply push the crown back in all the way and screw it fully closed to preserve its water resistance *Do not change the date when the watch is between 10PM-2AM because the movement can be damaged. How to ensure the watch is waterproof? For a watch, water is the worst enemy. To make sure you protect your watch properly check these factors before wearing it. First, see what kind of crown you have. If it is a push-down crown the watch is definitely not waterproof, but water resistant If the watch has a screw-down crown, then it may be waterproof, but you should check your model’s specifications to be sure. *Most importantly, no matter what kind of crown you have, you should check the watch for damages to the case, which will allow water to reach the movement regardless of whether the crown is closed or not. However, if you have any doubts, its best to have the watch water-tested, which will give you a conclusive result. I installed this in table top "menu holder" with a friction fit so that it can be removed easily. It is also easy to change the time and battery. I also added a portion of a "famous" Accutron ad. It is mounted with "photo mount glue for easy removal if you prefer to install a different add.The display is approx. 6 1/2" h x 5" w.InFamous. Iconic. Historic. APPROXIMATE CLOCK DIMSIONS: height 14 ½” x width 8 ½” x depth 7 ½” I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. I am NOT a retailer. This clock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to this offering. Clock set-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind a clock. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, we cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer of these clocks. All shipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrapped separately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut & then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides. Please ask any questions regarding this item; responses will be made as quickly as possible. No international shipping and No refunds. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

HAWKEYE Measured Time NOGUCHI White Electrical Clock and Timer Extremely RARE
Up for auction is a vintage all original Hawkeye Measured Time Electrical White Bakelite Clock / Kitchen Timer designed by Isamu Noguchi, c.1932. Model E-1. Manufactured by " Measured Time " Inc. La Porte, Indiana. Made of bakelite, glass, printed paper, enameled brass. White Bakelite examples of this form are EXTREMELY RARE. Two models of this clock were produced: a limited run of white Bakelite clocks was followed by a more substantial run of black Bakelite replicas. The one presented here is from the initial production. This clock marks Noguchi's first industrial design for commercial manufacture. This clock is an excellent example of industrial design in bakelite, an early form of plastic, by a major twentieth century artist. Noguchi continued to design objects for domestic use and over the course of thirty years produced a number of successful pieces, including lighting, tables, stools, chair. According to the Noguchi Foundation, this timer was Noguchi's first mass-produced design, completed ca. 1932. It predates his design for the "Radio Nurse" baby monitor by about five years. The clock has a two-hour timer on top and the actual clock below. The dimensions are: 6 1/8 in. (15.6 cm) x 5 1/4 in. (13.3 cm) x 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm). This clock is in good vintage all original unrestored condition. The electric cord cover looks frail and we diced to leave the testing process to the new owner. The clock has a white bakelite body, metal back plate, the earliest printed paper face and black enameled handles. The small handle has one very tight hairline (or scratch). Please view all photos attached. This issue is barely visible and have been reflected in our asking price. Other than that, the front of bakelite body looks perfect! The clock face printed with MEASURED TIME in upper portion and " Measured Time Inc. La Porte Indiana (lower portion) and is covered with clear crystal bubble cover. The printed paper face looks consistent with age. The timer face is covered with clear plastic. No damage to the crystal and plastic covers. The metal back plate is firmly attached and shows some rust pitting. The metal label on the back reads: " MEASURE TIME Inc La Porte ,IND. Use only on 110 V-A-C 60 cycle MODEL E-1. 1941 HAMILTON Model 22 US Navy Ship Box Chronometer * Excellent * Running Strong
Up for sale is a WWII era (1941) Hamilton Model 22 Marine Box Chronometer housed in a mahogany wood chronometer box. The clock is mounted in a gravity leveled gimbal suspension ring. The clock has been fully tested and is in excellent working condition. The clock is currently keeping good time. This Hamilton Model 22 clock and box are very difficult to find in such excellent condition. The chronometer clock runs steadily with excellent balance amplitude and is currently keeping good time. The clock runs strong and continuously for approximately 63 hours after a full wind-up. These Hamilton U. S. Navy marine navigational chronometers were designated to be wound-up daily, at the same time every day, to maintain maximum timing accuracy, which is key to obtaining maximum navigational accuracy while at sea.The clock's time-set function has been carefully tested and it is working properly. The multiple clock features of the time-set mode safety protection set pin, the time-set pull out stem, and the manual setting of hands are each working very well. The clock winds smoothly, and the mainspring is strong and does not "slip" when winding. The watch dial is in good condition but has 2 small faint streaks on the white surface, and it has some of the typical compression rub marks on the extreme outside edges from contact with the bezel. These rub marks are hidden from view under the bezel rim. See close up photo of the exposed dial and hands. The clock is signed in 3 locations with matching US Naval Observatory issued serial number N 7635, which appears on the bottom and side of the brass clock case, and also on the face of the bezel. The 4 clock hands are clean, straight, and are properly aligned. See close up photo showing hands. The clock "Up Down" winding indicator mechanism and pointer hand are in fully working condition. The winding indicator range is marked for up to 56 hours of run-time, but the mainspring is strong and the clock runs continuously for a bit over 63 hours, which is quite good for one of these old Hamilton model 22 clocks. The clock crystal is clear and is in generally good condition, with a few light scratches which are difficult to see without close inspection. There are none of the common spider-web pattern "crazing" defects on this crystal. The clock movement is complete and appears to be in excellent condition. The movement is running strong and continuously (see hand movements between photos). The Brass Chronometer Case Tub is in good condition for its age, with some light scratches, wear and oxidation. (see photos)The gravity-leveled brass suspension Gimbal Ring, the brass ring-lock assembly, the screws and washers are all present and are in good used condition. All of the related parts function properly. The 3-tier mahogany wood inner box is in exceptional condition. The box wood has no readily evident defects or scratches. There are no splits, gouges or gaps in the wood. This is one of the nicer Hamilton 22 boxes that one is likely to see.The glass viewing plate is clear and is free of any cracks or chips. The polished latches and hinges are in very good cosmetic condition and are each working properly. There is a minor accumulation of oxidation on some parts of the polished surfaces. See photos. No returns unless this item differs materially from the auction description or photos.Although the clock is currently functioning well and keeping good time, I cannot guarantee continued future operation or timing performance. As per best shipping practices for fine marine chronometers, the delicate clock will be carefully removed from the wooden box and packed separately (outside the wood box) with plenty of protection and cushioning Please ask before purchasing if you have any questions. Payment and is $45 to addresses in the U.S.A.The cost of shipping includes tracking and insurance for the full value of the item. The clock will be securely shipped in a well-cushioned, oversize box. This delicate item only ships to addresses in the United States. Sorry, No International Shipping for this item. Due to the delicate nature of this antique, this item only ships to addresses in the United States. Insurance and Tracking are included in the stated shipping price. No returns on this item unless it differs materially from the item description or photos. Payment is expected within 3 days of auction close unless prior arrangements have been made. Note that some states may require payment of sales tax with the purchase of this item. Thank you for looking!

Put this fantastically rare clock in your collection the bid will start @ just $1.00!!!!The clock features bright flowers, a deep forest green base with gold accents that are bright and very vibrant on this clock, add to it the obviously lavish look and design of the #4 Regulator, makes this one of the best-looking clocks we've offered in a long time! We are going to be offering this clock as we down-size our inventory for relocation. The top and bottom of these scarce porcelain clocks were actually made in Germany at the Royal Bonn Porcelain Factory in Bonn Germany. Owned by the 19th Century Potter and Artist Franz Anton Mehlem, they produced high quality porcelain and earthenware until 1931. The clocks were then imported to New York where the Ansonia clock assembled the complete clock. These clocks are VERY rare in this condition as most of them are broken or need ALL kinds of work! This clock is ALL original and the gilt is 100% original! This clock is a complete stand out and is ready to display proudly in any surrounding. I guarantee that it will steal the show and be the jewel of any collection! clock has a running and striking signed 8 Day Time and Strike (rack and snail) Open Escapement French Type Movement (with jeweled pallets!), the clock has been serviced less than a month ago and is running strong! The Ansonia signed Two-Part Dial and Bezel is almost perfect, save for a small hairline crack right by the right winding arbor. The pendulum is 100% Original to the clock with ALL of its original finish. In consideration of how nice this clock is, it's also one of the nicest "original with the clock" Ansonia "Fancy" Upgrade Pendulums we've seen in a long time. The clock overall is in rare condition for these clocks, and we have seen quite a few, we are sure you would agree. Do you have a Collection that needs to be showcased on eBay’s #1 Auction site? Message us to learn how you can join our Consignment Family! …… This auction is for an 1920s, Art Deco Bakelite Desk Clock is American made by Warren Telechron Co. It is. Telechron was purchased by General Electric in the mid-1920s, and by 1928 all Telechron clocks had both Telechron and GE names. Then from 1932 to 1938, this practice stopped and Telechron clocks were marketed without the GE name. We think this model 3H83 clock is from the early to mid-1920 before the GE name was ever used. Measuring 6” wide by 5 ¼” tall, this clock has a 3 ½” diameter dial and still retains its convex glass crystal. The back of the case is marked “Telechron Electric Clock Model 3H83 Warren Telechron Co. Ashland, Ma Made in U.S.A.” along with several US patent numbers. There is also a sticker label on the back of the Bakelite frame that reads “Sunlight Will Fade Case.” When we plugged this clock in, we could hear the motor humming and the hands began to advance but the clock does not keep good time. We are sure this clock should be serviced. ...To make sure some eBayer wins this antique Art Deco Bakelite Clock, we have listed this auction without any reserve. …… We give a 100% unconditional Money Back Guarantee that the high bidder will be more than satisfied with the age, quality, condition and authenticity of this Art Deco Bakelite Telechron Clock or we will return all their money. …… Please, check out our other eBay Auctions for a nice selection of Clock, Antiques, Art & Collectibles. Please be sure to message us for a quote so that you know how much this is going to cost before bidding. US Buyers: The shipping calculator on the auction is an estimate and actual charges will be figured at the close of each auction.
