The only timepiece that MUST be in every Watch Lovers collection! The Caliber 214 Tuning Fork movement. Thoroughly cleaned inside and out. Original crystal (new gaskets installed). Disassembled the case and bezel to deep clean lubricate reset "Rare" "Flat Top" Pillar Plate.. typical in the TE Clocks. Fully disassembled the movement and module for cleaning lubrication regulation and "disconnected" the leads so that it's not sending pulses to the contacts... so that it can be used as a desk clock. This is adjusted the conventional way that Accutrons are set... from the back set crown. Disassembled, cleaned and oiled all of the friction points and regulated the timing to run properly on the modern readily available and inexpensive 1.55v 387S battery (or 394 if you already have the insulator). This has been adjusted to run "Dead on balls accurate," as Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) would say... within the original Bulova Spec's for the time of issue. No need for any "tricks" or add ons that might upset the Coil Assembly. "Why fix it if it ain't broken?" No need for changes to the Electronics. Fully serviced mechanicals. DEEP cleaned! Friction points and setting crown oiled! New "Clark" 735 & 736 Battery Hatch and Case Back Gaskets installed. Fully disassembled and cleaned the case including the battery cover and back set crown. This is the original and correct case back, bezel, hands, and finishes. I disassembled the caseback elements and deep cleaned all of it, and greased the adjustment crown. As it SHOULD be! No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty... thereby devaluing it! Why "coat" the Coils... adding stress and trapping the windings and limiting movement? 70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)... NOT the Component side! Stop wasting time over-bidding Frankensteined FAKES, from the U.K., when you can have the genuine article. Why buy an over "engineered" parts bin mess from a part-time "hobbyist" who throws together a multitude of parts? What value does that have now... much less in the future?! It'll be nothing more than what it is... an altered mess! The last picture shows a small portion of my workshop and some of my watches and tools that I use. NONE of these items are included in this listing! I use the Mobius products that were specified by Bulova and I install new gaskets. I work on these the Old School way. I am not a Part Time Hobbyist doing this after my day job... and I see no reason to alter these... it only decreases their value. The goal is to get these right... so that we can enjoy and preserve these Historic works of Horology Engineering Art I send these out double boxed to protect them, with a multi page Instruction Set, an extra battery, insured, with Signature Confirmation Service... and I hand deliver them to USPS for receipt in hand so that we are BOTH covered! I work on these the Old School way. I do these RIGHT because I LOVE them. If you want cheap, badly thrown together FAKE CRAP at a "low" price point... I'm NOT "your guy!" There are plenty of people out there destroying classic Accutrons... would you accept this behavior for cigars, cars, watches, etc.?! SAVE the 214! Grab this NOW... before it's too late! Be the ONLY one on YOUR block! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
