How rare are these clocks? The truth is you NEVER see these clocks; these clocks are locked away and are never offered. These do come up time to time in MAJOR clock auctions in the price range of $2000-2500, but I don't think I've ever seen one hit ebay, until now! I picked this clock up a while back and I knew it needed a piece of the right trim, and I was going to get right on it; well life happens and here we are. What I love about this clock is that the finials, the original WS&C pendulum, dial are ALL there. What makes this clock even more special is that 90% of these miniature Pattis were made with a TIME ONLY movement.....this clock features the Time and Strike version of the completely redesigned Welch Movement...just for this little clock! This in my opinion definitely makes it one of the rarest clocks Welch ever made, guaranteed. I am going to let it go like we usually do. No reserve to the highest bidder, starting at just $1.00! The Rosewood case is 10.5 x 7.25 x 4 in. These clocks are small! As mentioned before, these movements are so rare. Rare Ansonia Diana The Huntress Ball Swing Mystery Clock Statue
The clock is not functioning. The clock hour/minute hands are a little bent. The birds have split away from the huntress' body at two points, could be repaired. The globe is missing a small screw on the back and the numbers "1 69 1886" are scratched into it.

Rare Antique Kerosene Clock Lamp - Standard Novelty Co
Patented in April 1886, this kerosene clock lamp was created by the Standard Novelty Company in New York. The glass dome has an open chimney at the top for heat to escape and the dome rotates over its octagonal base.I barely tried to wind the spring on the bottom & nothing happens. Assuming it will need a little work to get it running.The glass looks to be in good condition. Antique C. 1870’s H.B. HORTON’S PATENTS ITHACA CALENDAR CLOCK WORKS
Very hard to find this model with days striking mechanism.The clock displays a hard wood frame with two clock faces and gear internals. The top of the piece shows a standard clock face with roman numerals for the hours. The bottom half of the piece shows a calendar tracker with days around the perimeter with days of the week and months towards the center. The front of the clock (lover dial) is marked with "CCICO” Horton's Patents. April 18, 1865 and August 28, 1886. Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. Ithaca, N.Y.Recently basic lubricated. Keeps very good time.The walnut case measures 21.25 long, 11.75wide, and approximately 4.75 deep. This case retains an older patina. Both dials measure 8 inches in diameter and are original to the clock. They are printed on paper and applied to a zinc pan. The lower dial bears the Maker's name and place location. It displays the day of the week, the month, and the calendar day. The month and calendar are displayed on rolls that are positioned behind the dial. The appropriate information is shown through the rectangular slots cut in the dial. Both rolls are also original to the clock and are in very good condition. The upper dial displays the time. It does have a couple of small tears in the paper. The movement is brass construction. It is powered by two eight-day springs. It is a time-and-strike design, striking the hour on a wire gong. The backboard is designed to allow one access to the mechanism.Not sure if keys are original but fits well no loosening.Clock of cause need adjustment time and day of the week and month by simple to open back wall and loosen pins for each application. The girl continued to bounce upand down as intended.Spring driven one day timepiece movement (likely a 30 hour).Marked on face: Patented - Dec. 14th - 1886Bottom of the dial reads: Ansonia Clock Co. Sole Manufacturers, New York USA.We believe this is the earliest date face for these clocks.Measures 15 1/4” inches in height, 5 1/4” width, and 2 3/4” depth.Base measures 5 1/2” inches.Face of the clock measures 4” inches across.Doll measures 3” inches in height.In Good Condition.No cracks, breaks, or chips to the glass. Metal exhibits expected wear from age. This includes normal patina, scratches, and minor dents in the base, etc. The face of the clock has discolored with age. The second hand had caused somewear to surface. We’ve made no attempt to clean the face, or do any type of restoration.The end of the spring where the doll attaches is ‘clumped’. This is an antique Ingraham shelf or mantle clock, one of a series of Spanish American War commemorative clocks, featuring Gen. Fitzhugh Lee, 8 day T&S. Lee" Clock, 8 Day T&S, Running Click images to enlarge Description Heritage Matters INGRAHAM "LEE" MODEL SHELF or MANTLE CLOCK OAK CASE 8 DAY T&S MOVEMENT CIRCA LATE 1800s This is a original antique Ingraham mantle or shelf clock in an oak case. It is the "Lee" Model in the series of commemorative clocks celebrating the U.S. victory in the Spanish American War, which seems to be somewhat scarce. This model usually sells between $300 and $400 in good running condition. Fitzhugh Lee was an 1856 graduate of West Point, the grandson of Revolutionary War General "Light Horse Harry" Lee, the son of U.S. (and C.S.) Navy Captain Sydney Smith Lee, and nephew of U.S. Lt. Col. and Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Fitzhugh distinguished himself as a cavalryman, rising to the rank of Major General in the Confederate Army. He served as governor of Virginia from 1886-1890, and was appointed Consul General in Havana, Cuba, a post he served from 1896 until the war broke out in 1898. He then served as a Major General of U.S. Volunteers in that war, and afterward transferred over to the (regular) U.S. Army as a Brigadier General until his retirement in 1901. He died in 1905. Virtually everything about this cock is original. When I got it, the hands were missing, but I found a set of period Ingraham-type hands for it. The glass, "flying" eagle pendulum, and finish are original, and it even retains its original paper label on the reverse. The face shows wear and has somewhat darkened with age. The only thing not original is the nut holding the hands on! The movement has been cleaned and lubricated, and is currently running and striking correctly. It is approximately 23 X 14.5 X 5 inches.
