Antique Riley Whiting Tall Case / Grandfather Clock c. 1815
Very original Whiting clock; the only thing I see NOT original is one wire support for the bell. The red paint, fretwork, door glass, movement, everything's original! Tin can weights. The bonnet door in not hinged but has 2 clips to turn to remove the door. This was in storage for decades like a barn find Bullitt Mustang.<br />I will have the 2 escapement bushings replaced as they're u-shaped and causing the clock to run then stop. It was likely stored for that reason. The Masonic dial is untouched and perfect. There are no holes in the chimneys indicating finials were there origin

Antique German Black Forest GATEHOUSE TRUMPETER CUCKOO Carved Clock WORKING
Here is an attractive and rare antique gatehouse or railroad style "trumpeter" cuckoo clock with foliate grape vine carvings, in as found running condition, as pictured. This 30 hour clock measures about 20” tall plus weights and pendulum, so it adds a commanding presence to the collection. The cast brass pinned plate movement has the G.H.S. 5 , Gordian Hettich & Sohne manufacturers mark, powered by a matched pair of pine cone weights on heavy brass chains, with original pendulum , and strikes hours and half hours on wire gong while the 2 note trumpeter appears from behind double doors and sounds his horn. The clock is running well as seen in video but it should be noted that the clock is missing the top crest and the carved bone hands have a broken hour hand, and has some age associated wear, with a few separations to carvings as pictured. Other than that, the clock has been sitting in storage for thirty five years and will greatly benefit from a thorough cleaning of the dust and soils accumulated over the years. The movement is bone dry & needs oil but is running without complaint. The bellows leathers are older replacements as well and don't sound bad, but please judge for yourself from the video.. the two reeded tin “trumpets” are loud enough to hear through the house. Has original French style winding key, attractive original carved wood trumpeter with nicely painted surfaces. A great novelty clock for the advanced collector. Antique Premium Product Ray Schroder Zeppelin Dirigible Chrome Lamp Howard Clock …… Made by the Premium Products Company in 1936, this antique Zeppelin Clock and Lamp was designed by Ray A. Schroder. We couldn’t find much about this early 20th Century Designer other than that he designed multiple examples of lamps with Airplanes and Zeppelins. We also found that these Lamps Clocks were produced in only small numbers, so they are quite rare and desirable. ….. The frosted glass Zeppelin-shaped shade measures 12 1/2” long and is in excellent condition. When the shade is on the lamp, it measures 14 3/4” long by 11 1/2” tall with a 9 3/4” by 4 1/4” wide base. The 3 3/4” diameter clock face is marked "Howard Clock Corporation Chicago.” The clock has a spin-to-start mechanism, and when we plugged it gave it a spin; the clock started working but ran fast because we are missing the round weighted piece that slips on top of the pendulum stick. The lamp also works, and a previous owner has placed a blue light bulb, which we will include with the lamp. Although the wiring and socket look to be in good condition, please have them checked out before using this early 20th-century Lamp and Clock in your home. This Zeppelin still retains its original four tin propellers, however, when we removed the glass shade, we found a few issues. Sadly two of the propeller arms were broken and reattached, and also, there is a strong old repair to the center of the zeppelin’s gondola. This is a Juno Swinger Novelty Clock, with cast Spelter Case made Circa 1901, by non-other than Ansonia Clock Co. These clocks are probably the most desired collectible that Ansonia ever produced. This amazing clock has a Signed Ansonia 8 Day Movement, and also a signed Dial. The Dial and Beveled Glass looks all original and is in VERY good condition! This Juno Swinger is finished in Japanese Bronze with some green "Art Nouveau" accents that were probably added a long time ago, the swinger base is correct and original. The statue does have a few perforations that look like they occurred during manufacturing (see pics) This is a fantastic looking clock and as mentioned, it should run when you get it. The clock itself was serviced maybe a year ago. This is a clock that we've owned for years, and it is time to pass it on to the next Ansonia Enthusiast! These original Clocks with signed movement are increasingly hard to find! Measurements: The Statue with the Swinger Arm stands about 28 inches to the top of the finial. The statue measures 21 inches to the top of her head, 23 inches to the top of the swing arm holder and to the top of the finial on the can 28 inches, hope that answers questions I had before. These clocks are hard to find without broken arms and repairs, this one is definitely in great antique condition with the usual wear all over. This NO RESERVE auction is for an antique Ansonia Early Tin Can Fisherman Swinger clock for restoration. The spelter Fisherman statue stands 18" in total height on a Cast Iron base. He has two detailed fish dangling from his hand. He has the original copper/bronze colored finish that is in pretty good condition but will need a little cleaning and polishing. Thee fisherman statue has a robe draped over his arm and there is one rough spot to the spelter at the base of the drape. There are no other breaks or repairs to the original statue.
