Schmeckenbecher Nuernberger "Church of our Lady" Musical Cuckoo Clock
This is a one day clock. It tells time accurately and chimes at the half hour. It chimes, plays music and moves every hour. The two arms are present with the trumpets, and the King is holding his scepter. It is a handcrafted replica of the famous and magnificent Nuremberg, Germany "Church of our Lady" Clock. The Emperor Karl IV had the church built between 1352 - 1362.Repair has been done to the arm of one of the trumpeteers, this one will not raise the trumpet as high.The clock is 15" tall and 11.5" wide. Some scuff marks on all weights, see pictures, also wood is cracked in some parts, also look at pictures.Time to part with it and let someone else enjoy it. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

This rare clock is in perfect working order. Hand crafted by Emil Scmeckenbecher. Vintage West German MECHANICAL & MUSICAL Cuckoo Style Clock. It is a handcrafted replica of the famous and magnificent Nuremberg, Germany "Church of our Lady" Clock. The Emperor Karl IV had the church built between 1352 - 1362. The Mechanical and Musical Clock was added in 1506 and still operates today. From wikipedia: " One of the most notable features of the church is the Männleinlaufen a mechanical clock that commemorates the Golden Bull of 1356 . The clock was installed in the church in 1506. The Holy Roman Emperor is shown seated with the prince-electors surrounding him. The clock mechanism is activated at midday, a bell is rung to start the sequence followed by the trumpeters and drummer. Then there is a procession of the electors around the figure of the Holy Roman Emperor."Like the original Clock on the Church, this wall clock sounds off One Bell Ring on the Half Hour and Rings the number of times for each Hour of the Day (for example, at 3:00, the bell rings 3 times, 10:00 = ten times and so forth). After the bell rings the music box plays a delightful tune and the 6 "Electors" move in a circular pattern one complete revolution around the King. I do not believe this clock has ever been setup or used based on the condition of the packaging and clock. I am leaving it as it is. I slide out one of the weights for photos. Schmeckenbecher c.1970 Model: Hofbräuhaus or "Beer House" Condition: This is an amazing find as it is a vintage 1970 animated musical cuckoo clock titeled "Hofbräuhaus" or "Beer House" and it comes to you as never being used and in the original box as shown with the original instructions. The only thing missing is the top section of styro-foam packing material. This clock has bright, vivid colors just like the day it came out of the factory as they have never seen daylight to get faded out by the u.v. light or bleached by the sun. This clock most likely will need service because it has sat 64yrs in the box and I am positive the original oils and greases have dried up long ago. Since it has never ran, you might even be able to just add oil to the pivots and places that need oiling however, if you plan to run it often, I highly suggest having it serviced. I am selling this as a non-running clock for restoration because I did not and will not test it. It has never been run and I want to pass that honor on to the next buyer who plans on keeping it. The gem of this clock is the fact its case is amazing and brightly colored, you will never find another one like it with the graphics they way they are on this clock. This impressive looking 8 day cuckoo clock was made in the Black Forest of Germany right around 1970. It is nicely carved and highly detailed with a medium brown finish that is extremely attractive. It has a hand carved wooden deer head, rabbit and grouse. It has the original standard 8 day Regula movement that has been cleaned and serviced with new bellows tops added. It runs and cuckoos properly. As mentioned, this is a large clock, measuring 24" from the antler tips to the bottom of the case, NOT counting the huge weights or pendulum, and 14" across the top piece. World Famous Farmer Daughter Musical Cuckoo Clock #19
Another Super Clean one with its original leathered bellow tops!, No Rips or Pin Hole we did reinforced the rear end to keep it strong for even a longer life span. Possible last of the August 1970 productions since it has the wooden windows (later model were plastic). The housing has NO Fixes, we did apply wood glue internally at all critical joints to keep it strong for another 50 odd years. The movement was sonically cleaned then oiled so it’s Bright & Tight. The only little fix was the plastic ladder, it had the right side foot damaged so we fix it. We also installed a New set of Chains with Hooks & Rings, a new set of weights and a new pendulum. We also replaced the Time and Strike wheel with NOS* parts. What that crazy cat doing on the roof??..lol, made by Schleich a famous German figurine company (not glued in placed). We forgot to take a picture of the music box on #18 that it had a couple missing piano tooth but this one is complete. . After the Cuckoo call the music box plays an unknown melody. As the Coo-coo calls the left windows opens and the cuckoo birds comes out and the farmer pitchfork moves up & down, then the music starts and the right windows opens and a girl comes out as the man in the ladder goes up & down. Measures appx. 12 inches high by 13 inches across and about 7 inches deep. Comes with easy set-up instructions a numerical certificate and a 3 page article about Cuckoo clock origin. *New Old StockA few ebay customers seller! World Famous Farmer’s Daughter Musical Cuckoo Clock #18
Made on January 1974 and is in super clean conditions. As far as we can tell this one has never suffer Cuckoo Clocks #1 accident of Falling off the wall; however we did a few roof wood work and painting but no cracks or broken pieces. The Outside. The housing is in excellent conditions, we did applied wood glue internally to keep it strong for next 50 odd years. The factory painting is nice and clean and no cracks or flaking off. We did apply a light coat of wood oil to protected (new owner should do that at least once a year depending on your climate). The Inside. The movement, music box and all metals were sonically cleaned and then oiled. We did removed the crack-plastic time wheel and replaced it with an NOS* Steel wheel so that will never happen again. Music box was tuned, as you can see in the video everything is working at 100%. It even has the original leathered top bellows with no cracks or pin hole, we only reinforced them from the back ends so it will last even longer. All original parts we only installed a new set of weights and pendulum. After the Cuckoo call the music box plays an unknown melody. This one is so rare that, well it's our third!, There is a pressed stamp on the back door that is barely readable of 8-86, the right-side fence is missing so we added a little lamb looking at the horn player (Made by Schleig Figurines Germany). Mostly original parts but we did install a new Pendulum and Chain Set. We also applied wood glue inside the housing to keep it strong for another 39 years, The Music box plays and unknown tune at the top of the hour as the Man with his Horn Lift up his horn, then the Swinging Dancers goes around right after the Cuckoo calls. Measures appx 14 inches high by 12 inches across and about 7 inches deep. Albert Schwab Classic Musical Cuckoo Clock Peddler #200th! W/Night Silencer
We are celebrating our 200th* restoration of these model and giving away the Free Cuckoo clock Peddler Figurine!. This one was made in June 1999 and in like almost new conditions. Mostly all wooden fixtures like the Peddler, Waterwheel and Dancers. The Peddler on the clock moves the hand with the umbrella as the coo-coo sounds, then the waterwheel and the dancers goes around with the music (music box has a Steel Governor not plastic)(( music box has 2 melodies)). It also has a Night Silencer on the bottom, just push the lever upward to silence the clock (time will continue to run) then pull downward to reactivate. The little clock above the Peddler head is a watch and we installed a new battery. After complete assembly we also test run it for 4 days. Measures appx. 12 inches high by 9 inches across and about 6 inches deep. Comes with a Numerical Certificate and with easy pictured set-up instructions.
