Schmeckenbecher c.1970 Model: Hofbräuhaus or "Beer House" Condition: This is an amazing find as it is a vintage 1970 animated musical cuckoo clock titeled "Hofbräuhaus" or "Beer House" and it comes to you as never being used and in the original box as shown with the original instructions. The only thing missing is the top section of styro-foam packing material. This clock has bright, vivid colors just like the day it came out of the factory as they have never seen daylight to get faded out by the u.v. light or bleached by the sun. This clock most likely will need service because it has sat 64yrs in the box and I am positive the original oils and greases have dried up long ago. Since it has never ran, you might even be able to just add oil to the pivots and places that need oiling however, if you plan to run it often, I highly suggest having it serviced. I am selling this as a non-running clock for restoration because I did not and will not test it. It has never been run and I want to pass that honor on to the next buyer who plans on keeping it. The gem of this clock is the fact its case is amazing and brightly colored, you will never find another one like it with the graphics they way they are on this clock. This is a one of a kind opportunity so, don't try to put a "market value" on it because there isn't anything else out there to compare it with!
