MATTHEW NORMAN SWISS CARRIAGE CLOCK, SWITZERLAND
eBay Matthew Norman Carriage Clock made in Switzerland for High end retailer BERGDORF GOODMAN.I have also seen this same clock marked with Tiffany on the face. The clock was purchased new on 5/9/89.The clock stands 5 3/8" tall not including the handle. It has a moon phase, Day and Date dials, strike repeat and an alarm. I do not know if the alarm is not working or I am doing something wrong. Whenever I try to rewind the alarm the alarm just keeps running. The glass panels have some damage as noted in the photos. There are also some spots and rubs on the brass as seen. Although the clock is currently running I can make no guarantee something so delicate will still be running after the rough handling of the shippers therefore it is sold as is for parts or repair no returns. (Condition: Parts Only)

Large complicated Swiss hour repeating carriage clock @ 1990s made by Matthew Norman and retailed by Tiffany & Company, New York. This is a very nice deluxe one owner clock that came out of an estate recently, where it was maintained and in regular use. It's an amazing clock showing phases of the moon, days of the week, days of the month, and also has an alarm. These complications are not manual, but are advanced by the clock automatically during running - wow! All beveled glasses are original and good. The extremely high quality and detailed case retains most of its original finish, and looks very good, but has tarnished a bit over the years with handling and winding. Original signed porcelain dial is perfect with no damage. Original hands. The 8 day hour repeating movement runs good and keeps excellent time with its original platform escapement, but it is sold without any warranty due to shipping. Movement runs strong, and strikes and repeats correctly, and all of the subsidiary dials work perfectly. Dimensions are: 7" tall with the handle up x 3 7/8" wide x 3 3/8" deep. Weighs in at 4 pounds. No reserve. USPS shipping in the continental USA will be $40.00. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
