Jaeger (LeCoultre) Birthday table desk clock with 8 day movement from the 30ies
Ultra rare and beautiful Jaeger (LeCoultre) table desk clock with 8 day movement from the 30ies. Chrome plated case, partially lacquered black. Wonderful two tone silver dial with hour, minute and second scale. Central second. Caliber 222. We thought that this clock was related to motorsport, especially to car racing / auto rallye. The drilled hole on the lower case is for a badge that can be placed and therefore the watch can be used as a trophy. We thought this because we got one years ago in this style. eBay Physically, the Geochron looks like a framed world map, about 2? x 3? ft. in size. The colorful map is an endless belt that is driven slowly from left to right by an electric clock motor in synchronism with the rotation of the earth.
