eBay Vintage Jaeger Le Coultre of SwitzerlandItem ~ mantle mantel clockLine ~ Atmos, 528-8 designDesign ~ brass clock with perpetual motion movement, silent movement with no ticking ~ as shown, on the base is a brass plaque that must have been given to the person as a 30 year anniversary with American Motors automobile company, 1934-1964I confirmed through Ancestry records that this person in the 1940 census worked as a machine welder at a refrigerator company in Grand Rapids Michigan, which had to have been Nash Kelvinator. Still was living in GR in 1950 census, listed as gun welder in the refrigerator factory. Nash Kelvinator and Hudson car company merged together to form AMC in 1954. So after 30 years with both companies, he was awarded this clock for his service.
