Antique ORIGINAL C2 bakelite vintage electric kit cat klock kat clock 40’s GLOW

For the collectors! This clock looks almost new!This is the original 2 paw version of the kit cat klock C2 model with two paws and no bow tie. This has the original glo in the dark clock hands and eyes! In the last pics showing the glo eyes and hands this is the clock on the right. True vintage American iconic item! This clock was discovered in storage and as with all of the clocks we sell, it has been taken apart, cleaned and disinfected, lubricated and freshened up as necessary. Bonus this clock even has the original bumpers on the rear aluminum cover as well as the original rubber grommet for the electric cord! Rare indeed!This clock has the original motor and is in great shape and looks great too! Check out the pics! The bakelite is smooth and looks almost like it did when new. This is an excellent example of this model as it displays fantastically! Cleaned and disinfected inside and out! Ready to be gifted or enjoyed!* Remember if you buy certain models of these that have not been restored it will stop working sooner than later. Some of the gears in these motors were made of a type of plastic that deteriorates over time due to age and heat etc., whether or not the clock was used or stored in a box the plastic will still deteriorate. Vintage Kit Cat Klock 1950s Electric Baby Blue Kat Clock D3 Felix Complete Works

Very cool clock in a very rare baby blue color/model combination! This is an early 1950’s model before bow ties were added but after they increased the number of paws from 2 to 4. Clock is 100% intact and working with only very minor wear to the front, sides, and face; Really in great condition for its age! The whole piece has light fading of the blue color due to time and age, and while the eyes and hands DO glow they don’t glow for very long anymore. The eyes glow longer than the hands. Clock has been serviced and restored to working condition. Tail and hands are from another D3 model. Motor is original and in good working condition and was serviced, cleaned, and oiled. Clock was run for 1 month after restoration and cleaning to confirm everything worked properly. Eyes move, tail swings, and keeps accurate time! Note that as this an older electric motor it does have a quiet hum to it. Please see below for very detailed specifics for each part of the clock.Head: Excellent condition. There is a small amount of sticker residue from an old sticker on the left side of the head; We attempted to remove but it is so old that is has effectively become part of the cat. Not very noticeable unless you are looking closely fortunately Body & Face: Very good condition. Some of the paint on a few toes has partially worn off. A few small scratches here and there on the face and the black dot above the number 12 has a little wear. There are some very light scuffs on the left and right side of the clock body. Tail: Excellent condition with a few small dings on the back.Motor, Gearbox, & Internals: Very good condition. The motor and gearbox are in great condition and everything spins smoothly. There is one missing screw mount attachment for where the gearbox assembly would attach to the cat body. The assembly is secure with only 3 screws but it is worth noting. Back of clock & everything else: There is a small melted circle on the back of the clock. It is completely invisible from the front and does not go through though. The case back does not quite sit perfectly flush with the clock, when looked at from the left side there is a small gap. Not noticeable unless you are looking for it and does not effect mounting or performance Please see pictures for details and if you have any questions let us know. Will be EXTREMELY carefully wrapped and packed in a box within another box and WILL be insured for delivery. eBay Please read entire description. *This is a rare approximately 70-80 year old Original KIT-cat klock 1940’s - early 50’s model WITH NEW MOTOR in proper working condition!!! Original synchron motor included see last pic!Has porcelain wire nuts and original rubber grommet for the electrical cord!This clock supersedes the very first two paw no bowtie versions, and precedes the four Paw and bowtie version of the later years! Very rare indeed! Intended for the true collector, or someone that appreciates vintage iconic made in America items!*This is the older 40’s version with four paws and NO bowtie. ***Has glow in the dark eyes and clock hands!!! When the eyes and clock hands are exposed to light, they will glow in the dark for a short amount of time. SEE PICSPlease read entire description! Please note these are old electric clocks. They are not completely silent. They are not loud but you can expect electric clock motor noises, and occasional clicking sounds from the plastic parts of the animation.
