FRESHLY RESTORED! This is the original 4 paw version of the kit cat klock D3 model with no bow tie. This has the glo in the dark clock hands and eyes! In the last pics showing the glo eyes and hands this is the clock on the left. True vintage American iconic item! This clock has the original motor and is in great shape and looks great too! Some of the gears in these motors were made of a type of plastic that deteriorates over time due to age and heat etc., whether or not the clock was used or stored in a box the plastic will still deteriorate. Condition: Please noteThis particular clock has a crack on the rear cover thats has not gone all the way through. It has an epoxy repair on the inside of the rear cover that is not visible from the outside. This was done preventively and does not affect the clock or it’s ability to hang properly on a wall.These older models of the kit cat klocks that come with the original round shaped Synchron brand motors are not completely silent. Even truer with the bakelite clocks. The animation of the clocks may occasionally make sounds. The synchron motor itself does make noise in these very old clocks. Some describe it as a “whirring” or humming sound etc. That is the nature of these clocks.
