eBay Chelsea "The Mariner" Ship's Bell Clock w/ Mahogany Base Limited Edition 6" Clock Face - Running & Striking Ltd Ed Repro of the 1911 Yacht Wheel Clock Item Description Beautiful Vintage Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock, the Mariner model, here for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! The pictures do not do justice to the size of this piece, it stands 17.5" tall.Nice looking marine/nautical clock here. Made by the Chelsea Clock Company in the USA. "The Mariner" model is one of the most sought out Ship's Bell clocks made by Chelsea. This is a limited edition release of this model by Chelsea. Would guess from design that the clock was made sometime in the ??? (still researching). This offering by Chelsea was only a 500 limited edition run, so very rare to find one outside of Chelsea or a fine jeweler. this clock is number 65 of 500.The original this model is based upon was first issued by Chelsea in 1911This fine Ship's Bell Clock is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end auction house or clock shop. We have been selling items out of our home for over 35 years. We can therefore better control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the high end auction houses and Clock Shops experience.Get this for a nice discount from what you would pay at the Chelsea store website, or a fine jeweler, which are typically offering this mode at around $6,250.This nautically inspired clock is considered one of the finest ever made in this country. A true masterpiece. Has a ship's wheel styled case that then sits on a beautiful mahogany wood base. The clock has a ship's bell mechanism which strikes 1 to 4 double bells at the 12, 4 8, & 12 hours. Then at the half hour the movement strikes the double bells for the hour and one bell strike for the half hour. The movement has an 11 jeweled movement. The movement itself is made from 364 brass and gold plated precision parts The solid brass bezel is opened by the side button latch on the left and then is hinged on the right side. Bezel is securely attached and latch working as expected. The clock's face is crafted from etched/incised brass that is hand silvered, enameled and lacquered. The Ship's Wheel ring is finished using a hand-rubbed process and then lacquered to prevent tarnish. A heavy piece here, weighs around 33lbs before packing, so expect the shipping cost to reflect that.Nice brass colored lacquered case here. Ship's wheel spindles are all in place. The brass case is all there. Very minor finish loss to the brass clock case and the wood base from use/age. No dings or dents to the metal case. The glass is intact, no cracks or blisters. There is a line of some sort of residue or glue on the right back side of the mahogany case, see pic. There is a slight scratch on the bezel by the number 1. A small blemish on the bronzed metal base above the wood bottom closer to the right side. The clock comes in the bottom part of the original case, no top, and with some of the original Chelsea paperwork. The bottom of the box shows some minor wear and tear. The clock has an 8 day mechanical brass movement. The wind springs feel sound when keyed. The clock will come with a wind key. The clock has been running and striking as expected, since we acquired it. So, the clock is being sold in running and striking condition at this juncture. Nice mahogany wood base that this clock is securely attached to. The Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock on wood stand is 17.5" tall, by 14" across, by 5.5" wide. The clock face is 6" across. A heavy piece, so expect the shipping cost to reflect that. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. This clock's movement has not been serviced by us since we acquired the clock. No guarantee the clock will be in operating condition, once shipped or delivered to you. The pictures provided both complement and supplement the listing description, so please look at them very closely as well. With old items, there is no way one can capture all the little imperfections in words, so the two media are meant to be the full description. As can be expected when dealing with a vintage clock, some adjustments may be needed after shipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be very delicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, we would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are not our modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks. Please ask any questions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it. Make sure that this clock meets your needs and requirements before deciding to acquire it. The item can be returned, there is a 15% restocking fee to do so. Mathurin Moreau 29” tall French museum clock 1800s Louis Boname Seloncourt
eBay For auction is a truly rare spectacular clock, nearly three feet tall by the famous artist, MATHURIN "Math" MOREAU. The clock movement is by the famous French clock maker: LOUIS BONAME (BESANÇON) SELONCOURT. You can see the stamp on the clock in one of the photographs. The dial protected by original glass door windows Moreau s signature appears in at least two places, once on each ladies' dresses (photos). I purchased this clock from a collector in Prague around 20 years ago and have owned it ever since. There is also a plate on the front “M. Moreau”. This clock is entitled "TRIOMPHE L'AMOUR". It is truly spectacular and stands over 29" tall and is very heavy. The detail work is exquisite. The back of this clock is more decorative and detailed than most clocks fronts. The glass and porcelain face are in excellent condition. The clock works and chimes a lovely bell sound. When I purchased the clock I was told it had been featured in a well-known palace in Germany. Unfortunately, I've since forgotten its name. There is a stamp on the back of the clock that reads as best as I can tell “Hors Concours” which I understand to be an expression from the late 19th century meaning “unrivaled ” This museum caliber clock will be the centerpiece of any home, whether your home is the Trump Tower or a more humble abode. The clock is in excellent condition for a clock that is well over a hundred years old and never restored. A true collectors piece. The Moreau family sculptor dynasty begins with Jean Baptiste Moreau, who was born in Dijon, France at the end of the 18th century. Jean Baptiste had three sons who followed in his footsteps, they were Auguste, Mathurin and Hyppolyte François The legacy continued with Auguste’s sons, Louis Auguste and Hyppolyte Francois. Members of the Moreau family often studied at the famous École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.Mathurin received many awards and specialized more in large statues - like you find in a town square, and his work followed the academic style. Many of Mathurin’s sculptures can be found around Paris, including L’Océanie, which is located in the Musée d’Orsay courtyard. Mathurin also won first place at the Paris World Fair in 1855 for his Fontaine de Tourny, which is now located in Quebec.Mathurin Moreau was born at Côte-d’Or on November the 18th, 1822, the son of Jean Baptiste Moreau, who was also famous sculptor in Paris. Mathurin Moreau studied at the École des Beaux Arts from 1841 where he was a pupil of Ramey and Dumont. He won awards at the Paris Salon. In 1885 his achievement was recognized by his becoming an Officer of the Legion d’Honneur. In 1897, Mathurian received the medal of honor for the Monument of Joigneaux. Its interesting to note that Auguste Rodin, also a sculptor in Paris at this time (born in 1840 and died in 1917) never received any such awards during his lifetime. In fact, it wasn’t until the 50th anniversary of Rodin’s death, in 1967, that he was finally awarded with the public tribute to Preiss. Mathurian died five years before Rodin. Mathurian Moreau sculpted many famous public statues in bronze around Paris and Europe, including L'Océanie at the Musee D’Orsay, La Chapelle Montmartre Parmentier in Cologne, the Sénat et jardin du Luxembourg, and a larger than life size figure of Marguerite d’Anjou. The two fountains of the Tourny place in Bordeaux (1857) were decorated with four Moreau sculptures. One of them is on display at Clemenceau place with Soulac-on-Sea. Mathurin’s son, Louis Auguste Moreau also became a successful sculptor. Other famous works of Mathurin Moreau are the Elegy, the Fairy with the flowers, the Ropemaking machine, Prima Vera and the Monument of Joigneaux, for which he received the medal of honor. Mathurin Moreau becomes mayor of the XIXème district of Paris. After its death a street in the City of Paris was named after him (Rue de Mathurin Moreau). He was made mayor of the XIXe arrondissement, Paris, and in 1912 had a street named in his honor. His other works include. · Cologne, limestone, 1865, façade de la gare du Nord · Nymphe fluviale, the Place du The tre Français Paris (1874) · L'Océanie, from the Exposition Universelle (1878),Musée d'Orsay courtyard · Zenobe Gramme, bronze, Musée des Arts et Métiers courtyard, Paris · Monument de Joigneaux, for which he received the medal of honor, Salon of 1897 · Tomb of Zenobe Gramme, Père Lachaise Cemetery, Paris, circa 1901 · Lord Strathcona Fountain, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, unveiled 1 July 1909 SOLD AS IS. YOU ARE ENTERING A BINDING CONTRACT TO PURCHASE BY PLACING A BID SO DO SO ONLY IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER. THANK YOU. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

The chimes unit has 8 strike hammers for the chimes and four strike hammers for the hours. This clock is weight driven with the 3 weights hanging from the braided cables. Winterhalder & Hofmeier Small Desk Clock Westminster Chimes w/ Balance Wheel Run
Antique Winterhalder & Hofmeier Small Desk Clock Westminster Chimes w/ Balance Wheel Movement Runs, Strikes and Chimes Item Description Here is a great unique Winterhalder & Hofmeier Bracket Clock with Wood Case and Beveled Glass in running condition for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!Very unique, uncommon, and rare clock example here from Winterhalder & Hofmeier. First the size, this clock is only 8.75" tall, Secondly, this is a balance wheel movement, have never seen a W&H clock that was not powered by a pendulum. This fine antique mantel clock is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end auction house or clock shop. We have been selling clocks out of our home for over 35 years. We are therefore better positioned to control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the high end auction houses and clock shops experience. The clock dates to the 1910 period from what we have researched online. The diminutive size would have it fall into the category of a desk clock. There is another one now online that does not have the Westminster Chimes unit that is up for $2,500 (same diminutive size, still a pendulum driven movement). Another one sold in 2002, again not with Westminster Chimes unit, for $600 per a site we utilize in researching our clock offerings. This clock is much more rare and unique than those clocks.Check out the beautiful curved top on the clock. The case is all intact, with the exception of the carving at the peak of the case. Not sure if carving like rest of case just fell off, or if there was a piece mounted to the front top of the clock at one time. Some minor finish loss to the case. The rear wood door is in place as is the latch mechanism. The red fabric is in place on the inside of the door. The 4 brass like doughnut feet are also still in place on the clock case. Show some finish loss. Beautiful mahogany case on this clock. The clock face is silver with black numbers. Some moderate loss of finish around the wind holes. The bezel is securely attached to the case by the hinge. The beveled glass in the bezel is intact, no cracking or blistering. The front door is very thick with a brass surround, securely attached to the case by the hinges. The movement looks good. The three wind springs feel sound when keyed. The movement has not been serviced or cleaned, we are selling it the way we found it. The clock will come with a wind key. We are selling this clock in running, chiming, and striking condition at this juncture, no warranty intended. There is no representation that the clock is in original condition, or will continue to be in working order. The clock has a Westminster Chime's unit. The clock chimes every 15 minutes, and then chime and strikes on the hour. This is a five gong wire unit. The Winterhalder & Hofmeier Clock stands 8.75" tall, by 6.75" across, by 5.5" (5-7/8" with door latch) wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Some information about the clock and Hofmeier (clocks) goes back to Winterhalder Uhrenfabrik in the Black Forest, a clock manufacturer from 1810. It was further manifested from 1850 under the new name Winterhalder & Hofmeier. In 1869 the company was renamed M. Winterhalder & Hofmeier, Friedenweiler und Schwaerzenbach, in Neustadt. From 1908 the new name was M. Winterhalder & Hofmeier GmbH. The company was part of the Black Forest clockmaker industry as its factory was located in Titisee Neustadt and surroundings and as it subscribed to high quality standards. The company existed until 1933 (A Jewish owned company put out of business by Hitler's Nazi Germany). W&H is regarded as one of the finest Victorian clockmakers of the time.As can be expected when dealing with an antique clock, some adjustments may be needed after shipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be very delicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, I would suggest you steer clear. Gorgeous & Large Black Forest Cuckoo Quail Clock ** The Crow, Fox & Grapes
For your consideration is a beautiful antique Black Forest Cuckoo Quail clock in exceptional running condition and serviced within the last 10 years. The case is in wonderful condition, showing only what I consider to be 2-3 excellent professional repairs to the reverse side of the upper crest and 1 leaf tip on the middle left side has lost a tiny amount of surface cover, but the tip is still there. A teeny tiny brad is missing from the numeral IX and there is a slight vertical hairline directly behind the fox or below the #6. I can't imagine any 100+++ year old cuckoo clock that hasn't received some repair attention. The Fox & the Crow of Aesop's Fable is the stylistic theme of this clock. The fox and crow has either a glass or a plastic eye. The large dial measuring apprx. 6 7/8" features celluloid numerals and lovely carved bone hands produced by BoneHands out of Canada - who was definitely primo & one of the best! The cuckoo and quail birds bob and flap their wings - Click on Video below. This clock was imported from Germany by George Kuehl ca. 1910. The Kuehl Clock Company was founded by Theodore (b.1865) and George Kuehl, who were born in Germany and came to Chicago where they entered into the clock business. They prospered importing Black Forest cuckoo clocks and other types/styles of clocks including Gustav Becker, Kienzle and others. In 1891, they incorporated. They received Gold Medals at Chicago, Omaha, Paris and St. Louis Exhibitions. They were businessmen much like Florence Kroeber, who was also born in Germany and had connections with European/German clock manufacturers who supplied him with foreign made clocks which he sold through his store in NY. The thirty hour restored serviced movement is stamped GK - the bellows were recovered and rest upon the old pipes which produce a marvelous tone. DIMENSIONS: 26" height not including the pendulum or weights; width at the uppper crest is 18 1/2"; depth from the crow's wing to the wall is 11"; weight is just over 8 pounds NOT including the 3 weights that total apprx 8 pounds. VIDEO https: youtu be QJ piFI6vUsFEDEX Ground or Fedex Home Delivery shipping max is $90 to the Eastern portion of US. I will INVOICE the winner at the end of Auction - PLEASE DO NOT PAY Ebay's INVOICE as ship cost has always been higher than mine even though I submit box dimensions & ship weight for calculation! Hold tight and I will calculate and send your invoice ship total at the close of auction and include my personal message. I do not skimp on packaging and I pack as though I am shipping to myself cross country. Shipping is only to the lower 48. Of course I will provide a confirmed SHIP QUOTE to your residence or office zipcode at any time during the auction...On Aug-09-23 at 10:00:46 PDT, seller added the following information:I received an inquiry re: repairs to the rear side of the cuckoo quail upper crest to which I have added another picture. Note: on the reverse left side a couple of narrow veneer strips were applied years ago to add additional strength to the repair. Repair(s) perfectly matched up with no sloppy glue. 1857 Gerhard Mandtler Restored Weight Driven 1 Handed Wall Clock Handmade Gears
This unique one-handed clock was made by Gerhard Mandtler son of Clockmaker Jacob Mandtler has been professionally restored. Gerhard was born in Prussia in 1821 and died in 1904. This Mandtler family was from the Mennonite colony located in Lindenau, Molotschna Colony in Prussia. These clocks are identified by the markings on a gear, identifying the maker and the year of manufacture. All gears on these clocks were hand made. The clock faces were not made by Gerhard Mandtler, they were hand painted in nearby village Lichtenau. These clocks were an important part of the Mennonite material culture. Mennonite parents often commissioned clocks as wedding gifts. The clock being offered is thought to be one of those wedding clocks. Due to political pressures the Mandtler family moved to Russia (now Ukraine) in 1855. Mandtler's son by the same name Gerhard Mandtler 1855-1930 was the last clockmaker of this family. Mandtler clocks ceased production around the Russian Civil War (1917-1922). There were several Mennonite families building clock during this period, Kroeger, Lepp, Hamm, Hildebrand and the Mandtler families. There are at this time more Kroeger clocks that have survived than any other. These clocks were very important to these people. Whenever they migrated the clock was almost sure to go with them. Looking at this clock one might assume it was from a large case grandfathers' clock or something similar. The museum for these Mennonite is located in Canada where several dozens of these clocks are on display, none have cabinets. What you see is the clock, the whole clock as it was used in the era, it never had a case. Movement is mounted on finished oak base for easy hanging. Researching Mennonite Clocks gives a whole new outlook on these amazing timepieces. Although these clocks were made with one hand and two hands the two-handed versions seemed to have had a better survival rate. Everything on this clock is in great condition. It has been serviced by a clock smith and received any care it required. Measurement on face is approx. 20 3/8" tall X 14" wide and weighs 7 lb. The pendulum is 39" long and 5 3/8 across and weighs 1 lb. 13 oz. The weights measure 11 1/2" and weighs slightly over 5 lb. and 6" and weighs 5 1/2 oz. This clock requires approx. 7 ft of vertical wall space. It is mounted on the oak board for hanging and movement protection purposes but can be hung easily without board. The clock smith is in the opinion this clock is authentic with all original pieces and parts. This is truly a great 166-year-old clock with an interesting history. This clock will be shipped in two separate boxes. Please check photos as they are a large part of description. Any questions, please contact me. Thanks for taking a look. (Condition: Refurbished)

Daneker Grandfather's Clock President Model 3 Chime Opt Cherry Wood Case Runs
Vintage Daneker Grandfather Clock President Model Westminster, St. Michael & Whittington Chimes Cherry Wood CaseRunning, Chiming & Striking Item Description Nice looking Vintage Daneker Grandfather Clock to add to your home or office charm. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself! This fine Grandfather Clock is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end auction house or clock shops. We have been selling fine items out of our home for over 35 years. We are therefore better positioned to control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the higher end houses and clock shops pass on to their clients. The clock dates to the latter 1970s based upon what we see with the clock and movement. The clock was made by the Daneker Clock Company that once operated in Fallston, MD. This is considered the President model. The plate normally inside the pendulum part of the case noting that is no longer there. This clock case is made of cherry and is in very good shape. Very little surface marking on the case. The clock is currently striking the hours on the hour. Fan for that part of movement just needed some clock oil. Does one of the three chime options, depending upon which one selected, every 15 minutes including on the hour. The strike is done by 4 strike hammers and the chime's sound is done by 8 separate strike hammers. This clock is being sold in running, chiming condition, and striking condition at this juncture. This clock is called a grandfather or tall case clock, as it is more than 73" tall. The stained cherry case on this clock looks very good. The case has a great design on the front of the case. Great columns with brass accents on the hood on both sides and back of the clock face and movement. The scrolling on the top of the clock and the hinges are in place and all look proper to the clock. Beautiful hood on this clock. The door is securely attached to the hood by the hinges. The brass finial topper is in place. There are side doors on the clock, so that you can open and get even a louder sound when the clock chimes, if you prefer.Again, all the wood and trim is still with the clock. The glass in the doors over the face, the pendulum. No cracking or blistering. The door hinges on both doors are sound and securely attached to the case. The lock latch for the pendulum door is there, operates and the key is there. The four legs for leveling adjustment are on the bottom of the case. This movement appears to have been with this clock case since made. Has a date of January 1979 noted on the back plate. The Daneker's clock movement was made by Urgos, a German company. The clock has a good beat to the movement with the pendulum and the time weight in place. The clock has a Westminster, St. Michael & Whittington chimes unit. This movement has a lunar dial and was made in West Germany. This clock is weight driven with chains. The clock is running as expected. The clock does chime and strike appropriately when expected. Someone put 2 balsa wood strips at top of movement that run from the back of the face to the front of the wood case back. Not sure what for, but left in place. The clock is in running, chiming, and striking condition at this juncture. We recently acquired this clock and have not serviced the movement.Nice lacquer finish on the outer shells of the weights. Some minor finish loss to the weight shells. No ding or dents to the weight shells. The chains the weights appear to be in good condition. The strike hammers and rods all look to be in good shape. Nice wood pendulum rod with gold colored bob on it. The bob's finish shows some very minor loss. We see no repairs or other indicators that would say these pieces are not proper to this clock as well. Great looking movement and clock face on this clock. The face shows no tarnishing or finish loss. The clock has a silver colored metal clock face on it with black roman numerals. There then is nice looking detailing surrounding the face. The large clock face is 9.25" across. The clock also has a very nice looking lunar dial on it. Has sailing ship, moon, and deer images on it. The elegant clock hands are black, match, and are appropriate to the clock. The clock also comes with the original paperwork in a Daneker envelope which is somewhat uncommon. The clock is too delicate and heavy for shipping safely via normal shipping options, so this clock is for local pick-up, via your shipper or delivery by me within 200 miles of Georgetown, DE. Buyer is welcome to make their own packing and shipping arrangements as well. Our customers also use a couple of blanket ship companies (we would pack out the inside of the clock in this situation, rest would be your carrier's responsibility) You need to understand a blanket ship company can take 6-8 weeks to deliver an item. We can also put you in contact with our local Fedex/UPS company for packing shipping assistance. We will also offer to deliver the clock to within 200 miles of Georgetown, DE one way. We would charge $.70 per mile for the round trip delivery plus any tolls/parking fees. That offer is for delivery only. If you want us to set the clock up (strike rod adjustment, weights, and leveling of clock on wall), that would be an additional $100. Should we agree to deliver this clock to you, and you decide to return the item, for whatever reason, such delivery charges are not refundable. The clock stands 78.5" tall by finial (77.5" w/0 finial), by 19.0" across, by 11.25" wide. Sorry, the other items that can be seen in some pics, and other items not described in this listing are not included. Only the Daneker Grandfather Clock described here is what is offered for sale. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, I would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art. Antique W Schonberger Wien Vienna Regulator Clock Runs Strikes Great Wood Case
Antique W Schonberger Wien Vienna Regulator Clock 2 Weights Great Pendulum Runs Strikes Great Wood Case Item Description Great W Schonberger Vienna Regulator clock for your buying consideration. Recently acquired this clock at an auction. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself. This clock is just waiting for the right collector out there to match it up with the appropriate finials and topper. Would then be a clock worth in the $6K to $8K range. Or just enjoy it in the condition it is in now. This fine Antique Wall Clock is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end auction house or clock shop. We have been selling clocks out of our home for over 35 years. We are therefore better positioned to control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the high end auction houses and clock shops experience. The wood case still has a lot of its' original elegance. The shape the case is in is just amazing. No loose veneer, all the carved column pieces are still there and look appropriate to the clock, not replacements. The locking latch for the door is still on the the side are still there. Hinges for the door are in working order. The clock is missing the 3 bottom finials, the two top finials and the topper. Schonberger clock cases did not come with lower wall levelers to flush it out. the back panel on this clock really shows a lot of age, but not cracked or repaired at all. Nice intact front and side glass pieces on this case. The glass appears to have waviness to it. All the glass is intact with no blistering or cracks. The clock face is made of porcelain and has "W Schonberger & ?ie" on it with "WIEN" below it. The lower part of the "W" in Wien is illegible. There is a small crack in the face emanating from the right wind arbor hole. Wenzel Schonberger was an Austrian clock maker from the mid 1800s to latter 1800s. His clocks, especially in this exceptional condition, are very hard to find compared to G. Becker clocks. Selling the clock in running and striking condition. The clock movement was just serviced by Clock Doc. New braided brass cables were also put on the clock as on of the old gut ones was frayed badly. The pulleys on the cables, are probably made of brass, and have a very nice ornate design on one side of them. The weights and wind key look appropriate to the clock. The two weights are with the clock, their hooks match up in appearance. The brass weights still have a nice shiny finish to them. The wind key that comes with this clock does not have a wood wheel on it.The movement has the W Schonberger name on the face of the clock. I do not see a serial number or makers mark on the back plate of the movement. The movement looks to be in good shape, probably had the movement cleaned sometime in the past 25 years. The movement design and hanger for the pendulum matched up with other Schonberger movements I have found pictures of online. Interesting the movement just slides into place, it was not designed with a locking mechanism to hold it securely to the four pins like you see with a Becker movement. The strike hammer looks good, no obvious repairs to it. Great pendulum and bob on this clock that look appropriate to the clock. The exposed wood stained rod is intact and check out the nice finish still on the brass bob!The clock stands 36.25" tall, by 14-7/8" across (13.25" at the bottom), by 6-7/8" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. We are selling this clock in running and striking condition at this juncture, no warranty intended. There is no representation that the clock is in original condition, or will continue to be in working order. As can be expected when dealing with an antique clock, some adjustments may be needed after shipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be very delicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocks before, we would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are not our modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks. Please ask any questions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it. The clock is too old, delicate, and large for shipping safely, so local pick-up only. Buyer is welcome to make their own packing and shipping arrangements as well. I will also offer to deliver the clock to within 70 miles of Georgetown, DE one way. Price would be $1.25 per mile for the round trip delivery plus any tolls/parking fees. So, for example, if 40 miles to your property and $10 in tolls, it would be $110 (2 40 $1 25 $10) for seller to deliver item to you.Make sure that this clock meets your needs and requirements before deciding to acquire it. The item can be returned, there is a 15% restocking fee to do so. So again, ask all questions you have, come see in person or send a friend to see the clock on your behalf, prior to deciding to acquire it. Don't be shy, I am always open to reasonable suggestions! This item is too large and fragile for us to safely pack and ship to you. Even though we are not offering shipping, I can make some suggestions to you on some companies that may pack or blanket ship this clock to you. Keep in mind these antique packing companies can take up to 6 weeks to deliver the item Please check out our other Timeless Tokens store listings as we are regularly adding new items. We specialize in vintage artwork, books, collectibles, furniture, musical instruments, clocks, and decorative boxes. Thanks for your business. (F14013). Payment Policy Per Ebay policy.
