Item under consideration is a 9 inch Tall, Jaeger-LeCoultre ATMOS (atmospherical) CLASSIC MANTLE CLOCK, SN 668388, with a jeweled 540 movement and a gilt gold rectangular case. 'The clock that works on air'. Produced in 1987 by Jaeger-LeCoultre located in Geneva, Switzerland.Clock is glass encased with a 24K gold plated bronze frame. Has a Rare Square dial with a gold gilt bezel, applied gold Arabic numerals and indexes positioned on a lacquered white faced dial, 13 jewel 540 movement, and a locking mechanism for transport. The clock is equipped with a glass bubble level and two adjustable front feet to assist in the leveling of the clock, which is necessary for accurate operation.Included are the following:International GuaranteeDirections for Use DocumentOriginal Box with packing material included.Note:Clock is new, never used. Original owner states he received clock in 1994 as a retirement gift, never activated it, placed sealed box in storage, where it remained until Sept. 2021 (27 years).Upon receiving the clock in September, we first balanced and then activated the clock to verify operability. Clock operated for one week continually. Then it was deactivated and stored in original box with original packing material. Clock operated accurately with no fault or errors found during this period.Atmos Clock operation:The Atmos clock operates with no external power source use, never needs to be manually wound by hand or require use of a suspended weight, as most pendulum clocks do. Instead, the Atmos clock gets its power to operate from minute changes in atmospheric temperature.No batteries, no electricity, no manual windings.Extremely accurate and silent.The technical principle behind the Atmos operation is a beguiling one; inside a hermetically sealed capsule is a mixture of gas and liquid which expands as the ambient temperature rises and contracts as it falls, causing the capsule surface to move like a concertina. EARLY 1990'S ATMOS CAL. 540 CLOCK - DOES NOT STAY RUNNING. Based on the serial number, this clock should be from 1991, 1992, 1993 or 1994. Again, it does not stay running but when the pendulum is moving, it does advance the hands as intended.

Atmos 13 Jewels JAEGER LECOULTRE clock caliber 540. S/N #609088 which is first generation from late 1984 to early 1985. Clock runs fine but probably needs a cleaning to keep exact time. Clock is in excellent condition but there is a small chip in the corner of one of the glass panels. See pictures. Additionally this clock was a corporate retirement gift and there is a small name plate on the front base that can be easily removed. Ridgeway Grandfather Clock Model 9030
Ridgeway Grandfather Clock Model 9030. Set in service 05/1994. Dial JC Movement CM. The light in the bottom is burnt out. Needs replaced. Also the mirror in the bottom that reflects the light was broken and has not been replaced. Itâ??s my understanding that you can just have a replacement mirror cut to fit. Read the picture that has the appraisal on it for more detailed information on the clock. It is valued at 2500 in excellent condition. We had it professionally cleaned and serviced last year and was told it was in good condition.

Vintage 1965 JUNGHANS Weighted wall clock Wood Brass Contrast Serviced in 94
This is a wonderful example of a JUNGHANS clock from 1965. This is an eight day clock which strikes on the hour. Clock can be silenced by means of a lever on the side. The insides revealed a note from a repair shop that and repaired this clock in 1994, only 30 years ago. the Clock is a beautiful, solid wood constructed piece with brass tick marks, chains and weights are in good condition, with some light paint chipping. Clock has kept perfect time as I spent a few days, finely adjusting the pendulum a quarter turn at a time . the pendulum is even exquisite, machined of solid brass. I’ve never seen a clock that has a amplifier on the chime. You can see. It is a speaker cone shaped device. The material looks very thin very interesting construction. I hope you love it like I have.
