RARE Sun Desk Clock by Alan Yip - Won 1994 iF Design Award - In Original Box with original documentation. Never used. Clock measurements are: 2 1/4 inches tall 2 1/2 inches deep 1 inch width at the front The clock face is 1 inch by 1 inch. The burgeoning of Alan Yip's career as an industrial designer came during his formative years as student in the Hong Kong Polytechnic. After winning a scholarship offered by the Polytechnic, he has the opportunity to work for Frog Design Inc. in California, U.S.A. n 1986. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Alan joined Philips Netherlands and worked with the Corporate Industrial group for 2 years. Finding it a challenge to upgrade the product design standard of the local ndustries to an advanced international level, Alan decided to return to Hong Kong and founded Yip Design Ltd. in 1990.
