Patek Philippe rectangular solar desk clock retailed by Tiffany with a Tiffany dial and original box. The clock keeps good time via a Patek Philippe mechanical pocket watch movement powered by light with a battery backup. The case is in excellent cosmetic condition. The clock dates to around 1970. Patek stopped making solar clocks long ago, the clocks now being produced are powered by quartz movements. Elmer O Stennes Girandole Banjo PRISON Clock M.C.I.P. - RARE
eBay Another spectacular clock from my dear friend who purchased it himself at an NAWCC show in 1970. This clock has been mounted on his wall since he bought it and is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. I gave it a wind a few hours ago and it is keeping time. As you can see, the case and everything about it is absolutely beautiful with no blemishes at all to report. As most of you know who are looking at this clock, the guy who made it , actually made it in prison after being convicted for murdering his wife and ironically, was later murdered himself. Elmer Sennes did mark the clock with the letters M.C.I.P. (Massachusetts Correctional Institution Plymouth), which he did so on all the clocks he made in prison. Clock measures 44.5" tall. You will need to take care of the shipping however I will gladly drop it off at the local UPS or other for you to save you on the pickup fees. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Reproduction Simon Willard Lighthouse Clock-Weight Driven w/ Passing Strike
eBay Rarely up for sale in the clock collector market and for your bidding consideration, is this Reproduction Simon Willard Lighthouse Clock. It has an 8 day weight driven passing strike movement. This fine Willard reproduction stands 33.5 inches tall with the glass dome in place and 9" in diameter. There is a brass tag on the rear access door that states "Simon Roxbury Willard". The lighthouse clock is made of a mahogany veneered case in three sections with an eight-sided base. It has an applied gilded ormolu wreath and applied center Caduceus (appears to be) and removable back door on 4 wooden ball feet. The clock is in overall excellent condition and is running and keeping time properly. As with any weight driven or mechanical movements, it is being sold as is with the understanding that the movement may need adjusting after a move. Being a collector of clocks for 30+ years, I've rarely had to adjust the weight driven movements after being moved. Careful handling and care should avoid that possibility. I am unsure of the year the clock was made but I'm going to date it to the late 1970's/1980's. If any of my fellow collectors have a better idea on its age, please email me and I'll update if necessary. It's not often that a reproduction weight driven Simon Willard lighthouse clock comes onto the market. Time has come for these horological gems to find new homes. Elegant Tiffany and Co. designs from the turn of the century through the 1980s comprise a significant category of meritorious clocks curated since 1970. Yes; that's me setting the time to welcome 1974.The handsome French hallmarked first standard (.950 purity) silver bezel is beautifully proportioned, displaying jewelry grade finishing. A thick beveled crystal protects the matte gilt dial signed "Tiffany & Co." "8 Days" "France" and "Repeater Quarter Noteworthy aspects of the timepiece include delicate blued steel spade and whip hands, folding silver easel on robust hinge bracket signed "Sterling" "Tiffany & Co." and hallmarked with poincon of Paris silversmith Gerain Amond, and push-repeat steel arm with knurled brass button extending from side of the movement housing. The 8-day running pocket watch ebauche carries Swiss patent No. 7032, assigned on July 19, 1893 to watchmaker and inventor Amédée Pere Douard (1834-1913). The caliber was modified with addition of quarter repeating works by A. Comman of Paris; signing the rear movement plate "Made for Tiffany & Co." Interesting Factoids Dials of 19th century bedside and folding travel clocks were often gilded to reflect limited (candle or oil lamp) light, enabling time to be read at night. Similarly, frames containing important works of art were gilded throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Around 1910, electricity reached major metropolitan residences. Incandescent bulbs invented by Edison provided light with the flip of a switch. Following WWI, French and Swiss bedside, travel and carriage clocks incorporating very costly repeat functions became obsolete. Few of these horological marvels survive 125 years; even fewer quarter repeating specimens in fine operating order. NOTE: Earlier this year the complex movement was completely disassembled (including removal of mainsprings from barrels), ultrasonically cleaned and rinsed, elements checked for wear, pivots polished, two jewels replaced, the time train mainspring terminal restored, reassembled and lubricated with high-grade Swiss grease and two viscosity oils. Operation was bench tested for weeks and timekeeping regulated. The silver strut, bronze case back, movement housing and dust cover were hand cleaned, polished and lacquer sealed. Dial, hands and crystal were cleaned, and the sterling bezel hand polished to high luster. Meticulous restoration enhanced aesthetics, ensuring reliable mechanical operation for years. Typical labor and materials cost of professionally overhauling a quarter repeating clock of this caliber is $1,200. The inner bellows (dated '73) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. eBay This Herschede Model 250 Grandfather Clock is an antique piece from late 20th century (1970-1999) made of Spanish Olive Ash material and finished with Ash. It has a traditional style with a wood frame, standing at 87 inches in height, 25 inches in width, and 15.25 inches in length. The clock is powered by a mechanical 8-day movement and has an analog display with Arabic Numerals.The clock features a Winchester chime sequence and is signed by the clock maker with an engraved signature. It is also signed by the brand Herschede and has the model number 250. The nine tubular bell movement, made entirely by Herschede, plays 3 chime tunes. Westminster (an exact duplication of the Westminster Abbey chimes), Whittington, and the exclusive to Herschede Canterbury Chimes .The 14-karat gold-plated dial was hand-engraved and even the rivets that affix the dial to the faceplate were silver-plated. According to Herschede, no shortcuts were taken in the manufacture of this clockThe case consists of rare burled veneers of Spanish Olive Ash or Acacia were cut and matched by hand one at a time, then burnished and hand-polished to enhance beauty.
