The clock is from a Florida estate. The clock is about 24" tall and 12" wide. The little scrolls have a nail in them as shown in the pictures. They should be glued down. American Clock Company 4 Glass Shelf Clock Very Rare and Extremely Hard to Find, Not in Working Order, Great Candidate for Restoration DESCRIPTION: The American Clock Co., Chicago, Illinois, an Clock, with Brass case and four side Beveled glass windows, Arabic Numeral White enamel dial with Floral Decoration and Black hands, Brass movement with round plates, the movement powered by two Weights and Periodically Rewound by an electromagnet, Mercury pendulum CONDITION: Case in need of Brass Polishing with tarnish and heavy discoloration. Dial and Hands Very Nice. All four Beveled glass windows intact with no cracks. Has been in storage 30+ yrs. Not in working Condition Selling As / Is, When taken out of box from storage, Mercury pendulum was inside wrapped in paper, I don't know how it attaches (I taped to back where shows in place for front picture) inside battery box underneath was envelope with 1 gear wheel and another piece looks like pendulum attachment and a few old wires (will send with Clock) , Appears to have all parts however I do not know... And were no Batteries Info I Found when Researching: Made between 1901-1905 The American Clock Company of Chicago is the result of the merger of The Automatic Electric Clock Company, Kansas City and the United States Pneumatic Clock Company of Chicago on or about 1901.
