This is an impressive Burr Walnut Vienna Wall Clock.The movement is an excellent 2 weight solid brass movement. Dead Beat Escapement Highly Carved !!! It has full carved column on each side of the front door.The case is made of solid wood with decorations and inlaid.Big carved crown on the top of the crest.The porcelain dial is in nice condition. White porcelain with roman numerals.2 Brass Weights & original nice Pendulum with key.Clock will sometimes stop after running for a few hours. Chiming has stopped working.If repaired movement should strike on the gong on the 1/2 hour as well as on the hour Manufactured 1880 in Germany serial # 243955.Height 56" Max width 17" Depth 7" Dial Diameter 7" Fabrik Germania Founded in 1871 & operated until 1899 when they merged with Gustav Becker.
