 We have a genuine ELI BENTLEY ( 1752-1822 ) signed clock dated July 1817 from Taneytown Maryland. It is 100% complete. There is one crack in the glass. It worked well for many years but is NOT working now.

 This listing is for a 1853-80s Miniature Grandfather Desk Clock Made by New Haven. New Haven was 1st Clock business to have mass production in the United States. A great Artisan wood carving, has brass Female accents vertically along front edges. Standing 14 3/4" from top to bottom, the Face of the clock is 2" across, weighs 3lbs. The clock has not been serviced. Displays incredibly well. The logo '1817 New Haven 1853' is under the 12 on the face of the clock. The top portion of the casing has been repaired before in the past by a previous owner. This Piece of history was found in a 4th generation home in mid west Michigan. We have not tried to operate the clock in any way. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century NEW HAVEN "8 Day Erie Regulator" Large Fancy Oak Octagon Long Drop Victorian Regulator School House Calendar Wall Clock, made by the New Haven Clock Company New Haven Conn. USA, Circa 1880. This Has a Beautiful Large Carved Oak Wood Case with Octagon Top and Long Drop, with Fancy Carved Decorative Band Trim with Reverse Painted Glass "Regulator" Lower Glass Tablet. The Original New Haven Maker's Label for this Model "8 Day Erie Regulator" is on the Back. This Has a New Haven 8 Day Brass Mechanical Wind-Up "Time Only" Regulator Calendar Movement. It is Signed with the New Haven Star Trademark Logo. The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Metal Calendar Dial with Roman Numerals, Signed "1817 New Haven 1853" and "Made By The New Haven Clock Co. New Haven Conn. USA". This includes the Original Adjustable Large Heavy Brass Bob Regulator Pendulum, and a Winding Key. The Clock is Large and measures approx. 33 1/2" Tall x 18 1/2" Wide x 5" Deep. ACHILLE BROCOT CARRIAGE CLOCK fine antique timepiece from well regarded maker

 A fine and rare carriage clock made by Achille Brocot (1817-1878) the celebrated clockmaker and mathematician. The case has original (dulled) gilt finish and all other parts are original too. The mainspring retains Geneva stop to prevent overwinding (this is often removed) and whilst I have had the clock running for several hours it sounds out of beat and will require servicing.

 Nice antique timepiece with an exceptional dial.  Unfortunately, case has a couple of missing/broken pieces: finial on right side, molding upper left, two flower petals, one sun tip, chip top left corner, back foot replaced.  I don't know what belongs at the top as it appears the missing finial from the side was glued to the top in place of whatever was there before.  There may be other damage I did not notice so please review photos carefully for condition Dial is marked J. Antique Circa 1853 New Haven Wind Up Mantel Clock, Gold Gilded Nouveau

Up for auction is this Antique Gold Gilded Nouveau New Haven Wind Up Clock.  The clock face depicts a six pointed star surrounded by a circle.  Inside the star are the dates 1817 (top), 1853 (bottom) and in the center is the maker "New Haven".  The last date suggests to me the clock was made circa 1853.  The face cover is a beveled glass.  The clock works intermittently for about 10 to 15 minutes before stopping and when I lightly tap the glass face, the clock begins running again but only for a few minutes.  Perhaps someone with the skill can get her running with
