This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century NEW HAVEN "8 Day Erie Regulator" Large Fancy Oak Octagon Long Drop Victorian Regulator School House Calendar Wall Clock, made by the New Haven Clock Company New Haven Conn. USA, Circa 1880. This Has a Beautiful Large Carved Oak Wood Case with Octagon Top and Long Drop, with Fancy Carved Decorative Band Trim with Reverse Painted Glass "Regulator" Lower Glass Tablet. The Original New Haven Maker's Label for this Model "8 Day Erie Regulator" is on the Back. This Has a New Haven 8 Day Brass Mechanical Wind-Up "Time Only" Regulator Calendar Movement. It is Signed with the New Haven Star Trademark Logo. The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Metal Calendar Dial with Roman Numerals, Signed "1817 New Haven 1853" and "Made By The New Haven Clock Co. New Haven Conn. USA". This includes the Original Adjustable Large Heavy Brass Bob Regulator Pendulum, and a Winding Key. The Clock is Large and measures approx. 33 1/2" Tall x 18 1/2" Wide x 5" Deep. This is in Good Original Condition, With Normal Wear From Age. I Wound the Clock Up and it is in Working Condition and Keeps Time, But Has Not Been Serviced or Tested Long Term, Sold As Found!
