American banjo wall clock single weight eight-day movement, ca. 1813-20, not signed. Clock has original painted face (7-7/8" dia.) on metal plate with crackled and cracked finish, some areas missing paint altogether but with a softness only age can produce. Face is secured to wood frame by three (3) slotted, bent-head screws with Roman numerals inside chapter ring and graceful original black painted steel hands. Up for bid is thisANTIQUE WALTHAM BANJO CLOCK, FULL SIZE 42" TALL and is WEIGHT DRIVEN. The tablets are hand painted and depict a patriotic Naval theme from the War of 1812, "PERRY'S VICTORY LAKE ERIE Sept. 10th, 1813". Included is an original receipt from 1930 for $75.00 and states it was purchased in Newport, RI. It was a lot of money to spend during the Great Depression. It will be carefully packed and insured.

Curtis & Dunning banjo clock
For your consideration today we have the following. A Curtis & Dunning, Concord, Mass, patent timepiece or hanging banjo clock.It has a gilt and mahogany case, roman numeral painted metal dial, moon hands, weight driven brass movement. Case is an old finish.Looks to be the original dial it is fastened to the case with two L-turns. It has wear to the numbers and surface stains. The original signature is worn and difficult to read, but enough remains to identify the maker.The tablets are old and possibly original. They appear to have been out of the frames at some time. The bottom corner glue blocks are replacements in my opinion. See pictures as they are part of the listing. Good weight , pendulum , bob, movement , suspension spring. Antique Frères Esquivillon & De Choudens Mounted Pocket Watch France #19011 RARE
For your consideration is this antique Frères Esquivillan & De Choudens Mounted Pocket Watch produced in Paris, France. Frères Esquivillon & De Choudens was active in Geneva and Paris from around 1765 until 1830. The Genevan watchmaker Jacques De Choudens (1728-1801) founded a company manufacturing high-quality verge pocket watches and early cylinder escapements with the brothers Joseph Esquivillon (1714-1798), Jean François Esquivillon (1) (1733-1813) and Gédéon François Esquivillon (1717-1799). The watches were mostly signed with Les Frères Esquivillon & De Choudens but also with Esquivillon & De Choudens and Les Frères Esquivillon.The watch back is marked "Les Fr. Esquivillan & De Choudens No. 19011". The face measures 1.37 inches in diameter. The key is included. The time piece does need professional cleaning...far beyond my capabilities. Additionally, one screw hole is loose and the frame wobbles a little. Please see photos for further condition details. This was purchased from an antique dealer's estate auction upon his passing. Up for consideration is a working black marble open escapement 8 day time and strike shelf/mantle clock. Has the name William Senter ,Portland on the face. Senter was a silver smith, jeweler, watch maker out of portland 1813 1888 this clock can be dated during the 1870's to 80's. The clock measures approx. 12 3/4 inches long by 9 inches high, and 6 1/2 inches deep. It comes with it's own key.
