Joseph Windmills Basket Top 17th Century Ebony Verge Fusee Bracket/ table clock
Itâ??s a lovely relic of a late 17th century Windmills dial and incorporates a lovely flowing tulip design with â??Joseph Windmills Londonâ? in the centre. His earliest watch, displayed in the British Museum, was made before 1680 and did not make use of a balance spring.

The clock will only run for a few minutes and stop. When you manually advance the hands it will cuckoo as it should and the music box plays and all moving parts function. but it will require some adjustment and or cleaning. Offered here is a vintage Anton Schneider eight day (with Regula movement) Black Forest Musical Cuckoo Clock. Overall good condition (dusty from hanging). There is so much to see and watch with this clock including a pair of bears that rotate on a platform when the music box plays and 4 dancing couples. There is also some deer, a hunter and various other pieces. This clock originally retailed for over $2,000.The music box plays Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer while the dancers and the bears rotate.The 8 day movement is marked:A. Schneider Regulaunadjusted 0 jewels There is a night-time shut off on the bottom.There are a few small scuffed areas (front shingles/windows) and the numbers of the dial show some wear. Please look at all pictures carefully regarding overall condition.Also the bell tower is loose from the two support pieces and will need to be re-attached.Please check the photographs carefully as they show these issues.The clock measures 23" tall ( including the bell tower BUT not including pendulum or weights) x 20" wide and 9-1/4" deep. The weights are marked 1500 and are matched.It has been hanging for months in my basement and I really love the clock but the configuration of the walls in my house don't provide the proper space to run/display it. There is a small sticker certificate of authenticity attached. Overall very good condition and complete original condition. The movement is marked: D. Hones TitiSee- Neustadt unadjusted 0 jewels There is a night-time shut off on the side.There is one small scuffed area (front & back are pictured) on the right side leaf of the crest, otherwise this clock is in pristine (dusty) condition. The crest is not removable except by removing screws.The clock measures 16” tall ( not including pendulum) x 12” wide and 8” deep. The weights are marked 1280 ET and are matched.The clock does run and cuckoo as it should but may require some adjustment. There is a small sticker certificate of authenticity attached. SETH THOMAS UTICA City Series SHELF CLOCK Time/Strike & Alarm Walnut Case RARE Another recent estate sale acquisition offered here is a c.1880's Seth Thomas UTICA with a walnut case. This rare clock was part of the city series produced by Seth Thomas. The clock also has what appears to be the original tablet which features a gilded pattern with herons (?). The dial pan appears to be the original nickel plated but I believe the dial has a paper replacement. The original dial is probably underneath but I have not tried to remove the paper to verify this. There is a label in the bottom of the clock but not very legible.Very nice lyre shaped 8 day marked Seth Thomas movement marked with a date of 1875. Strikes the hour only. I have had the clock running and striking the hour only (on a cathedral gong) but it will definately need to be cleaned and oiled. Very nice shiny damascened bob consistant with the city series clocks. The key may not be original but it is double ended for winding the movement/strike and the alarm.Clock measures 22-1/4” tall x 13” wide X 5-1/4” deep. The case has wear associated with a clock of this age but displays very well. Has the original button push to release the door.A very delightful and rare clock, sure to add to your collection. My pricing may seem outrageous but there just aren’t that many of these out there for comparison. Don’t hesitate to make me an offer. RARE Wm. L. Gilbert No.21 Regulator Weight Wall Clock movement, pendulum, dial + Offered here is a rare antique clock movement, c.1910 by the William A. Gilbert Company. The movement is from a Regulator No. 21 wall clock and it is an eight day time only dead beat movement with maintaining power. Includes original weight with nickel shell and original pendulum with a wood rod and brass pendulum bob. The pendulum is 20" long and the bob is 4-1/2" wide. Also included is the original 11-1/2" dial with roman numerals and a recessed seconds dial. Dial pan is 12-3/4". The hands are also original with cap & screw. The seconds bit is a replacement This is an estate sale find and is in unrestored condition. This clock was first made in 1910 and offered cased in Oak or Cherry (with mahogany finish). UNIQUE BLACK FOREST 8 Day CUCKOO CLOCK with shut off Grape Leaves & Bird Family Offered here is a vintage Black Forest 8 day cuckoo clock with a Regula movement. There are several numbers on the rear plate of the movement but I have no idea of the actual manufacturer The clock movement is in very good condition and is keeping time and cuckoo's as it should on the hour and half/hour. There is a mechanism to silence the cuckoo if you don't wish to have the noise.There are two matching weights marked 1280 EA.The case is also very good, no breaks or cracks noted. It measures 17-1/2" tall (not including the pendulum) x 13-1/2" wide x 5" deep. It does have a slightly distressed look (please see photos) where portions of the decorations look rubbed but I believe the clock was made to look this way. Very unusual design with the large bird on the crest and two smaller birds below the dial (slightly offset).
