GILBERT EL CANO Clock Arts & Crafts Mission Style with Slag Green Glass WORKING Offered here is an early 1900's Mission Style Arts & Crafts clock by Wm. L. Gilbert Co., Winsted, Conn, U.S.A. The 8 day movement with bell strike on the half hour and gong strike of the hours is marked 1913 and with the Gilbert Trade Mark. The label on the bottom of the clock indicates the name of this model is El Cano.The clock is made of oak and measures 20" wide x 12-1/2" tall and is 5-1/2" deep. It has two sections on either side of the dial with green slag (?) glass. The clock runs and stikes well and the case is in very good condition with just a couple of spots where the smoked oak wood has been rubbed.
