Beautiful original and early Seth Thomas "pillar and scroll" wood works clock in nice condition. Circa 1830, an Eli Terry design, this was Seth Thomas first clock. Movement is clean, the strike side has a gear which has been repaired and needs attention. (see photo) The suspension spring has worn out and needs replaced. Original top and bottom glass with bubbles in the original front glass. Part of the original label is on the inside. The dial is in beautiful aged condition with no damage just age. The dial is wood. The original weights and pendulum keep the clock original this is a piec
