These clocks were painfully accurate telling you when to go to work and when too go home.<br />Fairly attractive in a golden oak "arts & crafts" way. <br /><br />This one was made by Simplex of Philadelphia and is a standard eight-day key wound model. Most later ones were powered by electricity and didn't have the swinging brass pendulum. It has been recently cleaned and the original movement lubricated and adjusted. The time card punching mechanism has been removed long ago so all it does is keep accura
