This auction is for an antique 19th-century French Faience Quimper Pottery Mantel Clock bearing the blue Quimper mark from 1896 to 1922. Measuring 13 1/4 " tall by 10 3/4 " wide by 6 1/4 " deep, this clock has a polychrome painted design depicting a man and woman with fishing gear and baskets. Measuring 3 1/2 " diameter the white enameled face retains its original beveled convex glass and decorative brass bezel. This clock also retains its original hands & pendulum, and this clock is in working condition. The works are marked "1204" and "72," with a French AD Mougin Foundry mark and this clock is in working condition. There are a couple tiny glaze flecks to the back corner of the case, but there are no other problems or any restorations.
