London Georgian flame mahogany grandfather clock case @ 1780 Original Excellent

London George III longcase grandfather clock case only @ 1780. This case came with the set of 3 brass finials, signed London father time automaton brass dial movement, pair of brass clad lead weights, weight pulleys, and pendulum that I also have for sale this week. Please see my other listings for other Georgian period longcase grandfather clock items. This case measures 84 1/2" tall x 20 1/4" wide x 10" deep. The dial surround in the bonnet measures 11 3/4" wide x 16 1/8" tall. The Georgian mahogany case with flame mahogany veneers is presented in very good original as found condition with excellent original color and finish. This is a really high grade London case with amazing proportions, and fantastic flame mahogany veneers. The case is solid and good with only on small return trim molding missing on the 3 o'clock side of the movement just under the bonnet. The bonnet has brass stop fluted columns, while the trunk has chamfered brass stop fluted corners. The original base with double plinth is excellent. Great original frets and chimneys. Both the bonnet and trunk doors retain their original locks and hardware. Please see the photos attached for the complete description, and ask any questions you may have.
