Vintage Mid Century George Nelson Ball Clock Howard Miller Clock MCM starburst
Vintage Mid Century George Nelson Ball Clock Howard Miller Clock MCM starburst
SOLD $749.99 Sold: Mar 19, 2025 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This is gorgeous! I was lucky enough To find this at a local estate sale and just couldn’t pass it up! My research online suggests this was designed in 1947 so it was probably made around that time Into the 1950s. All you people who love mid-century modern…this is it! I cannot test the clock because I don’t know how to work it. I actually think it is possibly an electric clock but someone cut the cord…not exactly sure as I am not an expert. There are some marks on the side of the brass which may rub out with some brass cleaner but the front (face) of the clock is pretty good showing just minor wear that is really only discernible from close up. All of the spokes and balls are still connected and most of them have just a little movement if you press on them. One of the spokes moves more than the others when pressed but all are still attached. There is some distressing on the hands which I have tried to show in the photos. All in all this displays beautifully and most people love this as much as I do!!!Diameter measures approximately 13.25 inches. Depth is about 2-1/2 inches from the wall. Add a touch of vintage charm to your collection with this beautiful antique ball clock by George Nelson. The clock features a classic design that is sure to complement any decor style. Crafted by Howard Miller, this clock is made with the utmost precision and attention to detail. The clock is perfect for collectors who are looking for a unique addition to their collection. It is a versatile piece that can be placed in any room. Don't miss the chance to own this timeless piece of art. MCM style at its best! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
