High quality brass plate quarter strike 8-day wind three train suspension spring unrestored Westminster movement; 7 ½” diameter walnut burel clock face with raised applied gold colored Roman numerals; elongated walnut looking wood case executed in the Edwardian style clock; hour & minute hands are ornately designed & finished in gold gilding; 5 individual chime hammers play the Westminster melody with 2 chime hammers combined to sound the hours; 5 brass chimes rods are mounted to cast iron sound sink located within the clock case which reflects the soothing chime melody; adjustable brass pendulum weight; both movement & chime assemblies are mounted securely to case. Masterfully made clock case of solid & veneered walnut looking wood; claw feet and formal scrolls are part of the elaborate Edwardian case design; ornately cast gilded brass framed front door is hinged & contains beveled domed clear glass (scratch free) with friction fit; rear solid wood door contains a brass thumb turn latch; front door requires moderate lift adjustment to close while rear door open and closes easily; clock case sets upon carved claw wood feet at both front and back; all wood trim fitted properly & securely fastened to case. Chiming correctly & running on time. Proper winding key included. APPROXIMATE DIMSIONS: height 10 ¾” x width 29 ¾” x depth 6” I am NOT a retailer. I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to this offering. Clock set-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished through placement & leveling. Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller of these clocks & make myself available for setup communications by way of emails. All shipments will be carefully & personally wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrapped separately) set tightly into box containing foam peanuts, tapped shut & then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides, insured for full purchase price.
