This Salesman's Sample Clock was used to demonstrate the Master Clock and Slave clock functions. The movement is an early example of an ITR Master clock dressed up with an engine-turned finish.The movement is mounted on telescoping legs, which allow it to collapse into the box for transport. The pendulum also has a telescoping rod.Because of the short pendulum, the clock does not keep true time, as the movement is a normal 60 beats. The purpose of the clock was to demonstrate the system's functionality The clock runs on six volts, and the slave clock function works as it should. The purchaser is responsible for providing power and connecting it to the clock.Shipping of the purchaser’s choice will be at cost, or the clock may be picked up in Owego, NY.This is an antique, and I cannot guarantee it works beyond saying it ran on my workbench Please ask any questions before bidding.
