Welcome to BKCranston! Please take a moment to read the description, condition and browse the photos. Description: This clock set is beautiful. The clock runs for about 20 minutes and stops. It will need a professional cleaning. All arbors are in fine condition, nothing is broken. The clock is fire gilt bronze with standing angelic putti holding a bronze portrait plaque. There are beautiful gilt embellishments surrounding the clock itself including a quiver or arrows, flowing drapery, and a battle helmet with shield. The porcelain face with Arabic numerals is signed Leroy, Paris and is further decorated with a colorful garland of hand painted flowers protected in the front with a convex bevel glass door and a flat bevel glass door on the back. The works are Signed Japy Freres & Cie Medaille D'Honneur, and comes with it's chime bell and pendulum. There is no key, they are easily had on eBay for a few dollars. With the clock comes the original pair of crouching putti candelabras with two arm candelabrum. A gorgeous and very high end clock set and with a little cleaning will be keeping time beautifully. Measures; 10" wide x 12" tall x 5.5" deep, candelabrum 13" tall (25.4cm x 30.48cm x 13.97cm, 33 02cm)Condition: The clock keeps time for 20 minutes and stops, this is because the works need a good cleaning and pendulum adjustment.
