THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!This evening, we are very pleased to offer a very rare and splendid BABY PATTI V.P. model shelf clock from the WELCH, SPRING & COMPANY of FORESTVILLE, CT. Bearing its ORIGINAL PAPER LABEL on its backside. The label states its original 1879 U.S. Patents. Its wooden case is beautifully crafted of HIGHLY GRADED ROSEWOOD and has CLASSIC VICTORIAN STYLE. It features a SPRING DRIVEN, EIGHT DAY movement and was PRODUCED between 1879 and1899. This clock would be a RARE ADDITION to any ADVANCED COLLECTION of AMERICAN CLOCKS or AMERICAN VICTORIAN PERIOD DESIGN. It’s petite size and rarity combine to supply its captive visual wonder CONDITION: Outstanding original condition throughout! Superb original finish/surface. Original door glass with superb decorative border. Side glass is in fine original condition. Original dial is excellent as is, its original pendulum with its monogrammed pendulum “bob”! Its original brass movement is complete and its drive spring has strong tension. The clock is operational for a brief time………… most likely needs only a fine professional cleaning. Overall, this is a wonderfully crisp example of a charming and very scarce “Baby Patti” clock! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
