This mount is 8" wide solid mahogany wood. This is known as a "contemporary style" mount. Move the minute hand clockwise but wait for the click sound before 6 and 12. Do not pass through the click without completing the bell sequence. After the bell sequence finishes, continue moving the hand until the next click etc. Do not move the hour hand. The Seconds hand can be moved without any stops. The Quartz movement is on the reverse of the dial. Chimes can be silenced with the green knob (see pic).
