Original Listing Description

Very Ornate French 19th Century Gilded Clock with Limoges or Sevres Hand Painted Porcelain Panels and Dial with a Signed and Medaled Striking Movement, in Fully Working Condition Very ornate and colorful clock. The finely painted porcelain panels and dial are beautiful. The movement is fully functional (but could use a good cleaning), marked with an 1855 Vincenti medal, also signed by the US importer Taylor and Son, Bristol. Bell and pendulum were removed to take a better picture of the movement, but both are included. I will include a key as well. Left bottom panel is a replacement (looks great), all others are original and undamaged. Clock sits on its original wooden/gesso plinth that has some very expected wear, but, given its age, looks quite good. Most of such clocks lost their plinths years ago. Pictures speak for themselves, but do let me know if you have any additional questions. The clock measures approximately 15" high when on its plinth, 13.5" high when by itself. I will consider international shipping on a case by case basis.I am not doing any business, buying or selling, with anyone residing in Russia until Russia withdraws from Ukraine, no exceptions.This clock, like any other pendulum based clock, has to be put in-beat when setting it up after shipping, otherwise it may not run.
