Mid century modern Howard Miller Wall Clock with Magazine Rack by George Nelson Rare mid century Howard Miller Wall clock with intergrated magazine rack. Aluminum face with large numbers. Minimalist grandfather style. Designed by famous Eames contemporary George Nelson the inventor of the L shaped desk and considered by many to be the father of modern office design. Clock has its original c battery movement in it and I have had it running for a few weeks it has kept perfect time. These pieces are the iconic in mid century design. This particular piece has been featured in Houzz.com and I found a few other references to it in very high end designer and architectural sites. It makes for an interesting read.Dimensions are 42 inches high by 14 inches wide nearly 5 inches deep. It has 3 magazine slots.There are some small dings here and there from age.
