SOLD $525.00 Sold: Jul 28, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
08 05Dimensions: 28” x 13” x 4”Mahogany veneered case in an old finish. The scroll top is a replacement. The tablet is a replacement. The top of the case has slots for pulleys for a different movement at one time. It may have been restored back to the movement and dial that I have listed separately they were in the case when I bought it. The backboard is unusual as it has what looks to be a Chauncey Jerome label pasted over the original Erastus Hodges label Attractive case ready for a movement and dial.On Jul-22-24 at 03:31:54 PDT, seller added the following clock was restored by Ed Lafond decades ago. It was a piece that was altered with an incorrect movement (thus the pulley channels on top). He meticulously brought the clock back to original with a proper movement. It was then displayed in a museum. I've had this clock for about 8 years and cherished it ever since. I ran it for about a year until it stopped - you know how these old wooden movements can be! It is a beautiful piece.
