Aurora, prisma, and black hole Kirsch Hamilton clocks
Aurora, prisma, and black hole Kirsch Hamilton clocks
SOLD $1,795.00 Sold: Jul 6, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This auction includes all three of these clocks as shown. You can't find these in this condition anymore. Too many years have passed. I started collecting these clocks many, many, years ago. If I could find one in great condition I would buy it and put it away. Yep, I hoarded these clocks. These are all original clocks. The cabinets on all three of them are near perfect. I took several pictures of them in various modes of color. The black hole clocks, I've had half a dozen of them, and are hard to find for sure. The particulars of this clock is it takes a few minutes for the bulbs to brighten up. Just the nature of the design. Also when you look straight on, they are not as colorful as the others. You'll notice the black hole clocks also have black hands. The other clocks have color changing filter hands. The black hole is always readable because of this. There are more colors as you look at a side angle of this clock. The others hands fade out from time to time depending on how the colors are changing. For a few seconds, the others can be hard to read the time as they go through their filter changes I have install an led bulb into the aurora to keep the filters and motor cool. This is a must!!!! Do not install the original #93 auto bulb in this. Life of the motor and filters will last years longer. I thought someone might like this as a set. I don't think you would be able to find all of these, nor in this condition any way else. Remember, there is no colored filter or bulbs in these. Its all done with different wave filters and polarization. All serial numbers appear in the pictures. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for clocks collectors and appraisers.
