Antique 1898 KROEBER Mantle Clock Video - MUSEUM PIECE - ECLIPSE MOVEMENT - RAREPendulum - Present - OriginalKey - - Marked Kroeber - Time and Strike / ChimesHands - Original - SteelDial - Original - MetalOperating condition - Tested - I have ran for over 2 hours - the clock wound easy and kept good time during operation. Prior owner ran this clock off and on for several weeks at a time over the 20 years he has owned it.(SEE VIDEO). Please understand i do not know the mechanical service history of this clock, and it MAY need service in the future for long term optimal operation. NO Warranty ImpliedHistory - The prior owner was a clocksmith for 38 years and at age 89 he was no longer able to work on them, so decided to start letting some of his personal clocks go. Tho he did keep regular oiling and typical maintenance up as needed while he owned them until this last year. Features - VERY rare made 1 year only - VERY elaborate Eclipse movement, info on this clock and movement can be seen in photos 2 & 3 and are right from the Kroeber clock book owned by prior owner - Beveled glass front & dial closure door - FANCY decorative cut out sides and back closure door - All Original - 18" tall X 12" Wide - Very High Quality exampleClock Body - Condition is as seen - Please see ALL photos you be the judge.
