Hamilton, Model 22 US Navy lever escapement marine chronometer with 56-hour winding indicator running strong and keeps good time power indicator working properly 21J, 35S, in gimbaled bronze tub marked "Mtd. Watch Bureau of Ships U.S. Navy" to its rear, set inside a three-tier mahogany box with Hamilton signature plaque and display glass, fully capped lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with Elinvar hairspring, "U.S. Navy - Bu. Ships - 1942" marked mvt, striped pattern nickel damascene, s 2F15029 Chronometer is listed in the Hamilton factory ledger as having been made October 25th, 1943. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, very good cosmetic mvt condition, hands and crown,very good dial and crystal box with some scratches to front, very good display glass.
