Antique Lenzkirch ca 1859 German Vienna Regulator clock, runs and chimes
Antique Lenzkirch ca 1859 German Vienna Regulator clock, runs and chimes
SOLD $500.00 Sold: May 4, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Antique German Lenzkirch Biedermeier style Vienna Regulator clock. The clock chimes the number of the hour on the hour and once on the half hour on a coiled gong. Clock was probably made about 1859 based on the serial number. Some sources date the serial number to 1871. The clock runs and chimes correctly. Clock was serviced and tested. Clock runs over 2 weeks on a single winding (17 days last test). Approximate clock dimensions are 27” x 13.5” x 6”. I don't believe the cabinet and clock are an original match. The cabinet is probably not as old as the movement and has a piano style hinge on the door. The movement is the jewel of this clock. Clock is packed in a box that measures 29” x 19” x 19” . Clock will be mailed US mail parcel post, fedex or UPS ground. $5.00 handling cost for insurance. With any antique clock, there may be inactive wood worm holes, minor repairs, or parts that are not original. Old clocks tend to shrink and expand with varying humidity. Some the veneer is missing and some is cracked and loose. I have serviced and sold over 500 clocks on ebay and do my best to describe the clock, but cannot describe every detail for the pickiest of buyers. If that is you, please look elsewhere. If you have ever returned any item using the "not as described" with no explanation or facts, please look elsewhere. I run a fair and honest business, so please ask questions if you have them. No shipments outside the US or Canada, so please don’t ask. All sales final, no returns. Please pay within 3 days or contact me. Due to variability in shipping times, I cannot guarantee you will receive this by Christmas. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
