This is a Mark Leavenworth wooden works movement (30 hour) and dial with bell. Mark worked in the Waterbury Connecticut area in the early 1800s. All original. I have done tooth repair and replaced bushings. The works can be identified as Mark Leavenworth with the threaded twin studs out front and all arbors and pillars being threaded amongst other features.Dial is in excellent shape never been touched. It is considered one of Leavenworth's "Rais Face First Class" or decorated with raised gold gesso. Examine photos carefully.Bell is original to the works, excellent sound.Hands were with works and I believe are original. This style is seen with many period Connecticut Waterbury makers works including Leavenworth and I believe they were originally with these works. Hour hand has been repaired see photos.Second hand and calendar hands are original to the works.The works are running, a bushing has been replaced with wooden walnut bushing and the remainder were replaced earlier by others with brass bushings which I left and are fine.The works are ready for use if that is your intent or they would be a fine addition to a collection.I ship USPS priority. Dial is 12" wide 16" height.I will assist as best I can if a new comer wants this works for a case or wall mount. (Condition: Refurbished)
