Rare 1940's Williard Banjo Clock by Chelsea Clock Co. 3/4, Time Only Cast brass eagle finial sits atop a 6 inch hinged bezel spring driven movement, painted metal dial with arabic numerals and labeled Chelsea just above the key wind. Flat frames enclosing reverse hand-painted tablets. The waist is flanked by cast brass side ornaments in a beautiful mahogany case. The lower hinged tablet is of the War of 1812 naval battle between "The Constitution and Guerriere" with hand lettered title below painting, carved and molded lower pedestal and 8-day time only lever escapement movement. Fast/slow adjustment. Measures 8"W x 32"H x 3"D. Weighs 12lbs. Keeps good time! Key included. be double boxed and carefully packaged for shipping. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
