This antique French lantern clock, crafted by Lefebvre in the style of King Louis XIV and with the Brass Crest of the same is a stunning piece of history. Its brass frame, hand painted ceramic roman numerals and iron details make for a striking design that is sure to impress any collector of decorative clocks. Approximated 8-day movement. The inner workings of this clock is are functional but it will need restoration. We plan to fully restore with an antique clock-smith in the PNW if it doesn’t sell as is. Dating back to 1720-1760 likely near 1740, it is a true testament to the craftsmanship of the time.
