This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century Ansonia "La Mine" Victorian "Royal Bonn" Large Porcelain Ceramic Mantel Shelf Clock with Porcelain 'Open Escapement' Dial, made by the Ansonia Clock Company New York USA, circa 1881. It has a Beautiful Large Footed 'Royal Bonn Germany' Colorful Green and Gold German Fine China Porcelain Ceramic Case with Hand Painted 'Victorian Farmer Women' With Gold Gilt Accents and Vibrant Colors, Absolutely Stunning!!! It Has Decorative Ornate Side Trim and Top, As Pictured! The Case is Signed on the Back "La Mine" and "Royal Bonn Germany" with Painted Signature. This Has a Stunning Porcelain Dial with Visible Open Escapement, with Arabic Numerals and Ornate Fancy Bezel with Heavy Beveled Glass, Very Clean! The Dial is Signed "Trademark A". This Clock has an Ansonia Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, which is signed "Ansonia Clock Co. Patented A June 14 81 New York USA", with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Brass Adjustable Regulator Pendulum. The Clock is Large and Measures approx. 14" Tall x 11" Wide x 6" Deep. The Porcelain Case and Dial are in Very Good Condition!!! Overall Very Nice!!! The Clock is in Working Condition and Winds, Ticks and Sets, and Strikes Correctly!
