This listing is for an amazing mantle desk carriage library clock by Le Coultre, established in 1833 Switzerland. This movement is revolutionary: No hand winding, no electricity! ATMOS is powered only by the changes in the temperatures of the atmosphere around it! A change of only two degrees will wind the ATMOS for 48 hours. Such a variation will always occur even in air-conditioned rooms! The clock and case are made of brass and glass. There are some light tarnishing spots here and there. The clock was in storage for decades in its original box. It was overhauled a few years ago and was tested and runs. There are NO RETURNS for any item we sell. The original box is sturdy with a canvas strap with the certifiate of authenticity and the manual.
