Eureka Clock Co VERY RARE clock Three Balls & Seconds Hand Eureka Clock Co VERY RARE clock Three Balls & Seconds Hand I have for sale an electromagnetic clock made by the Eureka Clock Co. London 1906-1910 and for 1 year a few clocks were made using the three ball bearings instead of two ball bearings to pivot the main spinning wheel and with the second's hand on the dial. Dr. F. G. Alan Shenton book “THE EUREKA CLOCK” goes into great detail about these clocks and the history of the three ball with a sweep seconds hand and their rarity. The case is the round base with a glass shade with gilt ormolu finish on the case, also printed on the base is an inscription “G.R. – J.W., 8th JUNE, 1860-1910” The dial is in mint original condition with Roman numerals and a sweep seconds hand also signed Eureka Clock Company LTD, London. Serial number 7951 is marked on the movement. The Movement is in good running order via a dry cell battery when installed in the base.
