SOLD $900.00 Sold: Mar 22, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Offered here is an original serviced & functioning late 1940's Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos II Round Dial Mantel Clock, serial number 16,089. The mint 15 jewel unsigned movement has just been fully disassembled & cleaned and it has been timed and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The inner bellows has been replcaed with a modern style unit and is in perfect working order. The original dial, which has applied gold numerals and markers, is in good condition with some age spotting and the gold hands are clean. The rear bellows housing is in great shape with some minor scratching but no damage, spotting or stress fractures. The original 24k gold plated brushed finish on the exterior is in great condition with no issues or notable wear, other than some light clear finish wear on the base but no cracks or other damage. All of the fixed glass panels are perfect with no scratches and the entire case goes on and off without issue. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. I've owned, restored and have sold quite a few of these beautiful Atmos clocks and this a very nice 1952 round dialed Atmos II that anyone would be proud to display in their home. Thanks for looking at this collectible Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Clock and please bid with confidence. ALL ATMOS CLOCKS ARE SERVICED BY ME AND ARE FULLY GUARANTEED POLICIESNew users or bidders with less than 5 feedbacks must contact me prior to placing a bid or I reserve the right to cancel their bid. The item pictured is the item you will receive. Everything I sell is 100% authentic. Email me with any questions you may have or if you require additional pictures. Please understand you are buying a pre-owned clock that may have minor imperfections and I cannot describe every flaw, which is why I've provided good pictures from every angle. Vintage mechanical Atmos clocks do not keep perfect time like their modern quartz counterparts. I guarantee your clock to be exactly as described and even if noted as working great or recently serviced, please understand that, due to the sometimes delicate nature of these vintage Atmos clocks, periodic servicing and/or adjustments may be required. Upon receipt, if it's not working correctly as stated, please contact me and we can arrange for you to send it back to me for repair. I do all the restoration work myself! If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable amount of time, I will arrange for a prompt refund. I cannot be expected to issue a refund based on buyer's remorse, so please know what you're bidding on and what you're comfortable paying. All I ask is that you be as fair with me as I will be with you. I want us both to be satisfied with the transaction. Collecting and restoring these beautiful timepieces is a true passion of mine and I want my buyers to get the same enjoyment out of collecting these clocks that I do. I'm also a member in good standing of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. SHIPPING & CONTACT me for shipping rates for this heavy item. I closely estimate $65-$125 for shipping and secure double boxed packaging. This is my cost and I do not charge for packaging materials which do cost me money. I will send an ebay invoice to the winning bidder right after the auction. It will include United States Postal Service "USPS" Priority shipping cost with insurance if shipped to United States destinations. Items shipped to International destinations will be shipped safely via USPS International Priority airmail insured. If you prefer another expedited shipping method, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you and revise shipping cost accordingly. I request that buyers contact me within 24 hours after receiving my invoice to confirm your winning bid. Please include your shipping information and payment method. Otherwise, I won't know if you've received my invoice. The most important thing here is COMMUNICATION! PAYMENT (with confirmed address) immediate payment required. California residents must add applicable sales tax. If you are a new user or have less than 5 total feedbacks, immediate payment is required otherwise payment is expected within 48 hours. I reserve the right to re-list the item if you do not contact me within a reasonable amount of time and report any non-paying buyers to ebay. If you're serious about bidding on my item in the last minute than you should certainly be able to pay for it right away. Please understand that, even though I truly enjoy every aspect of these timepieces, this is my business. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
