This listing is for a gorgeous antique Irish grandfather/ long case clock.This piece is by John Gray of Belfast (Ireland) circa 1824.This listing is for a gorgeous antique Scottish grandfather/ long case clock.This piece is by Drummond of Perth (Scotland) circa 1820s.The case is made in the traditional drum head style, popularized during England’s Regency Period.The case features a carved, skirted base, flamed mahogany finish, gold leafed dial, and 2 brass finial spires.The dial retains much of its original gold leaf with with floral motifs, and a signatureThe movement is an 8 day time and strike with a visible second handThe clock appears to be in overall good condition physically. The skirt has signs of repair. The case hood has some age lines from normal wear and age.The movement was last serviced in July of 2023. We currently have it running. The bell chime has a nice sound. Please note that any type of mechanical clock that is moved or shipped might require adjustments upon arrival, thus time accuracy cannot be guaranteedIt measures 79 x 19 x 10.5 inches Note: this listing is for local pickup only.
