This is the last antique clock from our dad's estate. He was a collector, and he kept careful notes. I am not a collector and only know from his notes that this clock was worth holding onto. Here are the details from his notes and by E.N. Welch Model: "Eclipse" Type: calendar Regulator wall measurements (see photos): 39" tall, 15" wide at top, 5" deepWood frame with single long glass doorThis clock was last purchased at an auction in Fishkill Route 9, NY, on 5/29/1993 for $350 (from soiled note)My dad wound and set it on 5/30/1993 and made a note that, when he did that, it ran for days (from soiled note)This clock did hang in my dad's home since 1993. We remember it keeping time but do not know enough to test it.Using a Welch Catalog, my dad priced it at $700 in 1991(from soiled note)Seems to be in very good condition for its age (likely late 19th century from my online reading)We will have UPS pack, ship, & insure to winning bidder from NY.
