Antique Time Recorder Wall Clock in Working Condition - Punch In 'n Out Oak Case
Antique Time Recorder Wall Clock in Working Condition - Punch In 'n Out Oak Case
SOLD $445.00 Sold: Mar 14, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This is a vintage antique TIME CLOCK with a PUNCH IN and OUT TIME CARD FEATURE. I do not have any of the cards that would fit this machine. Please look at one of my photos that shows how the time clock stamps the time on the piece of paper. As previously noted, the ribbon is old and needs replacing. I am NOT a CLOCKSMITH but I did test it for its working ability for three hours and it continued to accurately show the time. Since it uses an interior pendulum, the up/down vertical orientation of the clock is critical for it to work smoothly. You will need to ensure that the clock stands at the right vertical angle for the pendulum to freely swing. There appears to be a tiny "S" on the face of the clock. It looks JUST LIKE the Simplex manufactured time clocks being offered on eBay. There is a key to fit the lock on the right side of the cabinet which locks the swing out glass door. It features a metal mounting bracket at the top rear of the case to support the heavy weight of the clock. It has three screws to anchor the metal bracket onto the case. Please see photo. Shipping and handling (S&H) will be moderate as it weighs over 52 pounds without packaging materials. I would prefer on location pickup to shipping it out as the shipping companies are often not very careful in their handling of boxes and often damage the interior contents with really no recourse to seek compensation.- I have tried getting damages reimbursed from FedEx with (so far) no success. It measures 32 " high x 13 1/4 " wide x 9 1/2 " deep. I JUST LOWERED THE PRICE!!!! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for clocks collectors and appraisers.
