Vintage Mid Century Modern 1960s / early 1970s Seth Thomas Starburst or Sunburst Wall Clock MCM - New Movement (Movement details below)24 unusually substantial Teak wood rays surround the brass tone dial. Each ray is chamfered along its edges Dimensions: 21.25 inch diameter tip to tip. Clock face is marked "Seth Thomas" above the center postMetal frame. Previously owned, vintage condition, with new top-of-the-line USA-made Takane Quartz MovementHanging aperture on the top of the central round frame (reverse side)New top of the line USA manufactured working Takane AA battery powered movement (installed new March 2024) has on-off switch and rotary thumb wheel to set the delicate hands without needing to touch them. Movement is powered by a single AA battery (battery not included due to shipping examine photos for details and feel free to inquire if you need additional views or information Clock has wear commensurate with age and use. There are some scritches or scuffs on the dial particularly near the number "7" that are evident on close examination. I am experienced with stabilizing and packing large vintage starburst clocks for safe transit. This clock will ship UPS stabilized within a 30x30x6 box with ample void fill.
